  • How To Heat Up A Pool?

I would like to heat up our small pool. I will be using it for some physical therapy. I don't want to go to the rehab facilities with COVID. I don't have a ton of money to buy a big expensive heater.

  • How Can I Heat My Pool?

I would like to use my above ground pool this winter for my muscle exercises. How Can I do this? The temps rarely get below 50* here. I don't have a lot of money. I do have a black plastic sheet I can use. Will it work? I also saw that some of the submersible water heaters work? But I don't know that they can be on for long lengths of time? I would think they are dangerous? Once the leaves fall there will be plenty of sun. are there any other safe low-cost options?

  • Less Sleep?

I remember as a kid waking and feeling like I needed to go back to sleep. I hated waking up. I felt groggy, cranky, on the verge of tears. It stunk! As a young adult, I tried to stay with the recommended 8 hours. Still felt bad. I had a hard time falling asleep and waking my whole life. I used to fret when I would look at the clock and see 12:00 am! Then my job changed. I found if I went to bed at 12:30 am and awoke between 6 and 8 am, I felt great! I have stuck with that for the last several years. I cant take naps. If I do, I am up all night and I get migraines. I also avoid them because my naps, rare as they may be, last 4 hours or more. I feel refreshed. Even if I cant sleep that night, the next day, I feel fine. And if I fall asleep before 10:00 pm, I am up at 4:00 am, and cant fall back asleep. So, I make myself stay up till 12:30, and awake between 6:00 and 8:00 am. Mind you, after I turn everything off, I am still up for another hour or so. I am estimating that I am getting between 5-7 hours of sleep on average. My daughter, I used to send her to bed at 8:30. But she would be awake in her bed for a whileand up at4:00 am. I stopped her early bed time and let her choose her own bed time. Now That she is a teenager, shes sleeping in late. I have read about people who need less sleep. Sleeping elite or super sleepers? Anyone know anything about this? I took a question and scored a 43.I am afraid of messing up my body getting less than the recommended, but I feel so good!

  • Cloudy pool!?

We got 3+inches of rain over a week ago. It got green right away. We shocked it, and shocked it, and shocked it again. Then it was cloudy. We put clarifier in it. All the white stuff fell to the floor of the pool. I went to vacuum it and the white stuff just clouded the pool...again. I installed an extra pump filter we had laying around today. Clean filter in both pumps. Let out half the water while I was installing the new pump. It is cloudy yet again. I would like to use my pool. I havent been able to jump in in this blistering heat. Its a small above ground pool. Its round, 10 feet across, 36 inches deep. Im tempted to empty the whole thing out and just start fresh, but I dont want to waste water. What can I do to clear the water up?

  • Seeking info on organic eating and living.?

I have some undiagnosed medical problems. I was told I was I should get rid of all the preservatives and chemicals. So far I have nearly replaced all the old food with organic. I have also replaced a majority of my cleaning supplies as well. In the last 3 months I have only had 1 flare up. It lasted only a few hours, not days or weeks. I have started walking a lot. I even do a very short jog. I would like to do more. I am still having migraines and although my muscle spasms are now rare, I feel I can do more to nearly eliminate my migraines and muscle spasms. A great website or book recommendation would be awesome!

  • What is the best way to let manufacturers know we are open for business?

I have thought about an e-mail campaign or mailing out professionally made flyers. I have also thought about going to the college and asking a marketing student to help with their portfolio (the student would be paid of course). Any ideas?

  • What kind of running shoes do you recommend?

I hate wearing shoes as it is. It literally hurts. Also, if too much of my foot is covered, I overheat and its just not pretty. I have thought about running barefoot, but the ground is what people spit on, their dogs pee and poop on it as well as birds and oil and grease...yuck! So I am looking for a shoe or sandal that I can run in and it not cause me pain or to overheat. Thank You!

  • I am looking for a cookbook?

I am not much for standing at a stove. I am not able to stand as long as I used to either. But I LOVE a home cooked meal. I am allergic to the artificial preservatives. So I am looking for a cookbook that has a whole bunch of baked recipes. Not so much cassarole recipes though. I already have a whole bunch of crockpot recipes. So mainly oven baked recipes is what I am after. Thank You!

  • Can I warm up coffee in a cup or bowl in a convection oven?

I hate heating or warming up food in a microwave. Our microwave went on the fritz, so I bought a convection counter top oven. I am thinking the only thing I will miss about the microwave is rewarming my coffee. If it is possible in a convection oven to reheat or warm up my coffee, please tell me how! Thank you!
