I am knitting a lace afghan and have come across the issue of what the pattern says. I have a pattern of 17 stiches to knit into 92 stitches that were cast on. Which is exactly what the pattern said to do! But it comes out that I do the 17 stitch pattern 5.4 times - which is not even!

What do I do?!

I recently gave up my double horn and will not be playing it any longer so I am now on a single F horn. The problem I am having is playing pedal F. First valve does not speak at all, and am wondering is there any other fingering?

So I have played the horn (french horn) for about 5 1/2 years now, and in January I got my braces off and totally changed my embouchure for the better. Until recently I was playing and looked in the mirror I keep on my stand and saw that I do not center my mouthpiece on my lips. I play slightly to the right of the center. Everything else is positioned just right.

I am wondering if that is bad at all?

I was recently told to play the horn in a healthful way, or more specifically "the student can deal with the instrument sensitively"

I have a super cute pink, short and pouffy dress I want to use on halloween. I was thinking of being taylor swift and wear a cowboy hat, but I don't have any boots, and I cannot afford to buy some.

Any ideas on what I could the dress for costume wise, or what I could for shoes with a taylor swift costume?
