My little sister is moving to NYC for college and wants to room with two other girls who she has known for a few years. They have run into an issue where all parties involved in the rental agreement need 40 times the rent in collective income. This income wouldn't be a problem but it is based on the prior year's income and collectively they make too little to get an apartment in a safe neighborhood. This year none of them make less than $45,000 but the Realtor they met with told them it did not matter. They were told they could get cosigners but it would require them to have 80 times the rent in income with the cosigners involved and my parents do not make enough money.

Has anyone run into this issue living in the big apple and more importantly does anyone have a solution that doesn't involve living in a bad neighborhood?

My DM is using a book that has enhanced stats for things like the demon and devil lords and the gods, including a CR 87 angelic being that slaughtered my character last session. I think the book is called something like Immortals or something like that but I can't find it. Anyone know what book this might be?

I don't know why this question popped in my head but I was wondering what the limitation of milk production was. If a mother continues to feed her infant (or other children) will she indefinitely produce milk until menopause?

This has nothing to do with an actual situation, just abstract curiosity.

Alright, this is a hypothetical question that one of my friends brought up:

If you had a child, around twelve, and she killed someone but either you or your spouse or both of you completely covered it up and got rid of all the evidence, so that no one could get caught...how would you deal with your child?

Turning her in to the police isn't an option as you'd be putting everyone in your immediate family in jail, so how would you deal with the fact that your child has committed one of the worst of crimes?

My aunt recently announced to us all that she is pregnant and for some reason I can't stop obsessing over it. I think it's because I am so very jealous of her. Anyway, I was talking to my mom about my wanting to spend time with my aunt and be around before and after the baby is born and she told me that I was just going to end up being annoying if I did that. I don't want to be in the way but I want to be supportive and if possible, involved.

For those of you who have gone through pregnancies, did you like having people in your family around or did you find the attention annoying?

I feel being called a female is an insult that implies I do not have the value of a human. Females and men are how people are beginning to refer to people as. Am I not worth being considered a human?

I also take the other side into view. Sex and Gender are not the same thing. You can be female and be a man, you can be male and be a woman. There are people who are neither male nor female and there are also people who are neither men nor women. These ideas go above the heads of most adults around me so don't spend too much time pondering it if you don't get it.

Am I justified in feeling insulted at being called a female and not a woman or girl? (There is also the entire argument of calling women girls, but I am young enough to be referred to as either)

I'm told all these stories, read all this information about the Feminist Movement and take great interest in it. However I see none of these powerful and respectable women in the world around me. In my school none of the girls have any interest in bettering themselves and even insult and tease others for being independent or bold. The teachers are no better, they all wear stereotypical clothing, behave as they are expected and offer no feminist ideology into our studies.

I've read that abuse and rape against women has been on a rise every year for the last ten years!

Have Anti-feminists won? Was there a declaration of surrender? Who should my generation and I look up to?

My microwave suddenly stopped working, or so I thought and when I opened it up the safety turn off did not happen. I'm pretty sure that the human body isn't supposed to be exposed to microwaves but is there anything in particular I should be worried about from it?

I closed the door after like five seconds and unplugged it, but I'm still a little worried.
