I own a baby sand boa, and the under the tank heating pad broke this morning.

No pet store that opens today (sunday) carry the heating pad i need, and i have to wait over night. I took the boa out and put it in my bed because the temp in her tank was much too cold.

What can i do in the mean while over night to make sure she doesn't get too cold? I plan on going to the pet store first thing in the morning.

I have a baby sand boa, about a foot long, she's been feeding very well the first month i've had her,

eating up to two pinkies a day, but for the last 3 weeks, she hasn't been eating, she would pick up the food and drop it. Her body is getting bony and so skinny it's worrying me.

She started shedding, and although i know snakes don't eat during their shed, she used to eat during her shed. Her tail started getting brown spots, circle spots in the part she hasn't shed yet,

looked up so many things on snake skin disease and can't match up with any conditions online.

the spots are fairly big (about half an inch across) and there is one light brown one, ring-shaped with empty in the middle, and a greyish one that's like a filled blob shape.

Should i wait until she stops shedding or should i take her to the vet asap?

I'm worried sick about her :( anything would help. Thanks

I'm trying to write about how heterozygote advantage of sickle cell anemia has led to increased population in heterozygous (sickle-cell carriers) individuals.

If there is any legitimate data that shows increased number in carriers in the last however long, it'd be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend and i have been in a long term relationship and live together. We have amazing sex life and everything was awesome. I knew of the 2 times he's watched porn on nights i was away. Altho i know everyone does it but i get overly upset and jealous because he's my boyfriend.

What's worse is i was looking at his history for something else and found stuff he's watched about a month ago. I'm 21, but the stuff he's watched was labeled "teen porn" and that almost made me gag. they're legal, but still made me upset. What's worse is one of the girl he was searching looks like his ex. My sex drive and self esteem has been 0% ever since.

When i told him i don't like him watching porn because of my insecurity issues, he told me to get over it. He's a great guy but I can't help being hurt about this kinda stuff.

What should i do to get over/confront this matter?

I have a light cream colored fluffy fleece blanket, 100% polyester.

I've been using my bed as a couch and sitting on the white blanket with my jeans often, and the jean stains have gotten on the fluffy part of the blanket. I washed it twice in cold water, gentle cycle with cold-water specific laundry detergent (as said in the care instruction), and the jean stain is not coming out. It looks absolutely disgusting because the fluffy part is all greyish blue. .

Is there any way to get rid of the jean stain off ? or any other way to hide them maybe?

I've got Brazilian done before and remember fine hair growing back within a week, so i stopped going for them, and just managed them via occasional shaving. (Which i really don't like) I know she does a good job because she has a lot of experience, and was highly recommended by my friends.

I tried going to a different salon that only does bikini waxing, also the most expensive in town. I thought i'd give it a try, and got a Brazilian done 3 days ago. It was perfect! smooth! and all that..3 days later, i have little stubbles poking through my skin already! they are not thick, but it really isn't smooth, so i just end up plucking them constantly because I'm a crazy perfectionist..

I'm not at all, a hairy individual, i have very thin hair, and i go almost a month without shaving my legs at times (and it looks fine, really, almost not noticeable)

Does anyone else have this problem? or know of a way around it?

I know it's bad for your skin, but i have make up on all day, everyday ,(incl. foundations) and sometimes i go to sleep with it on. Wondering if there's any good makeup that has good coverage that looks natural, that you can sleep in without too much damage.

Right now i'm using Laura Mercier, and it does do a pretty good job, but i've been noticing that i'm getting more blackheads.

I"ve tried quite a few eyeliners, and it all seem to smudge by the time i get up, recommendations?

Or if there's a good tricks to sleeping with makeup on, or etc, please share :)

I just moved to an older house, and i'm on the 3rd floor. There's neighbors directly below me, and to avoid squeaky noises, i've put my mattress on the floor. However this morning, my roommate told me she could hear us squeak last night! I've rolled around on the mattress, and it seems to be fine. I think it may be the floor, being an old house and all.

Should i raise the bed? put a box spring?

any suggestions on how to cut down or eliminate the squeaky noises?! Thanks!

I'm doing a research paper on its pulsation mechanism, focusing more on the kappa mechanism (opacity). Is cepheid star pulsation an adiabatic process? and also, as cepheid star evolves, does dampening effect cause the star to evolve into something else? or does the pulsation balance out the lost energy completely?

I've been on this very strict and healthy diet for good few months, and the other day i went out drinking, and had a lot of the sugary girly drinks. It looks like my stomach didnt like all the sugar and i'm having stomach problem. i also have headache.

Does this count for hangover? and will doctor write me a note for it?
