Hi everyone, I am really excited to start a Yahoo! answers account. I learned about Y!A from my best friend, Petlover. I love movies, animals, and music. I'm good at math and I love to run cross country and track. I like to hang out with my friends and go out to eat, too. I'm really an optimistic person, but I'll give it to you straight if I need to.

  • What political party am I in?

So I really want to know which political party I belong in. I've taken multiple online tests and received "Republican" as an answer every time, but those were only Republican or Democrat tests, they didn't really go in depth to my answers.

I was just wondering if any of you out there know of a political spectrum quiz I could take to find out which part of the GOP I belong to.

    Thanks!

  • Thumbs up/down scoring?

I know if you get best answer, you receive ten points plus a point for every thumbs up you get, but do the thumbs down have anything to do with a person's score? Is it just a way to show someone that their answer was bad?

  • Did I do the right thing?

A couple of hours ago, an old man with a cane came up to me and asked me to help him cover his pool for the winter, and he said he lived right down the street. He told me to get into his car and he would drive me there since it was cold to walk, and he asked me if my parents were home for the weekend. (I was at a track meet at my school). I said no, and he asked if I would do it, and I said sorry, no. I feel like I did the wrong thing. Feedback?

  • Dishwasher or paper plates?

    Just a finance thought...

Would it be more cost efficient to run the dishwasher with glassware or buy paper plates, cup, and bowls while at the grocery store? Then, just throw away the paper stuff.

If you could give me a weekly dollar estimate for the two choices, that would be great. Thanks for replying!

  • Why Iraq????????????

I would like to know your personal opinions of why we are involved in Iraq currently. Your opinions are valued. I think part of it has to do with oil, definitely. Maybe our government still hope that they will find WMDs there. Maybe "hope" isn't the right word. What do you think?

  • Caffeine Opinions!!!

How many of you drink caffeine? Of course you must know by now that it is a drug and has certain addictive qualities. I have never had a sip of coffee before in my life and I don't plan on drinking it. I don't drink sodas with caffeine in them anymore either. What is your opinion on caffeine?

  • George Bush topic? Open discussion.

I would like to know why everyone is so angry at Bush. We went to war to stop the terrorists. Poeple are very angry because their family members are being killed. But aren't those family members the ones who wanted to serve this country? If Bush hadn't sent troops over, the terrorists probably would have sought this as an opportunity to keep...well...terrorizing us. Your input is valued. Please respond.

  • I'm thinking about getting a dog...?

I need one that has short fur (my parents don't want it shedding everywhere)

I'd like it to be medium sized, not too small, and not too big.

I have a big yards and a lot of hiking areas, so an energetic dog would be nice.

I wouldn't mind having a dog that not bad to look at either.

    Any suggestions, Yahoo!Answer users?

    Any help is gretly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Funny Hillary Clinton joke!?

A man walks up to the white house, and of course, there is a guard at the gate.

The man says "I am here to see the president, Hillary Clinton."

The guard then says "Hillary Clinton is not the president and does not live here."

    The man walks away.

The next day, the same man walks to the white house gate, and the same guard is standing there.

The man says "I am here to see the president, Hillary Clinton."

The guard says "Hillary Clinton is not the president and does not live here," and the man walks away again.

The next day, the same routine happens: the man goes to the white house gate, and reports to the same guard "I am here to see the president, Hillary Clinton."

The guard says "Sir, this is the third day you have been here and the third time I have told you that: Hillary Clinton is not the president, and does not live here. Why do you keep returning?"

Then the man says "Because I just love hearing you say it."
