Also how do you append output from a script file to a .log file?

I am calculating an integer based on an barcode image. The int will have a value between 1 (2^0) and 256(2^8). I am trying to create a string of characters, each represented by the int which I get from evaluating an individual column of a barcode.

I don't know how to convert an int to a string and then append that string to the end of another string (an empty one initially). I have tried the following (where col_sum is my integer):

I deleted a very large number of songs from my iTunes LIBRARY (1000+ songs) and I never want to see them again. For some reason they are still in my [user]>music>iTunes>iTunes music folder.

When iTunes prompted me to "keep file" or "move to trash", I selected the latter and then emptied my trash. The songs no longer show up in my library, but I can't the library on my iPhone to mirror the one on my computer. The iPhone library keeps all of the stupid songs I don't want. I have read that you can do the manual control and uncheck the songs that you don't want, but there is no way in hell that I am going to do that for over 1000 songs.

I use gmail and I keep getting emails in Adobe format. I don't have Adobe on my computer and I always have to open finder and force the computer to open the document in preview. Is there any way to set gmail so that it downloads the files in Preview? If not, is there any way to make a mac always open Adobe documents with preview?

I am an active tennis player and can't take time of my training schedule. I have a blister on the heel pad of my right hand (the hand i play with) so I cant put tape over it. It has been there for several weeks. I heard that there might be some kind of cream I can rub on it. If you know anything about this type of cream or any other method of getting rid of blisters please tell me. Thank you.

I want to make a 7 point headlight racket either equal or 1 or 2 points head heavy. The racket is a Head Microgel prestige. Any one know how much lead tape I should use and on what part of the racket I should apply it?

Why do men have to put all of their money into buying a ring. I understand that it is to show your love, but why isn't there a tradition where women should put the same amount of money the ring cost into doing something for the man. It seems like in society women are always pampered and receive gifts (really expensive gifts) while men work their asses of to be able to give them such gifts. On the flip side, women, as far as i've seen, hardly ever gift men.

Why do women generally get to be the ones to be stay at home parents. Personaly as a guy, I would love to be a stay at home dad and I believe that not being able to be a stay at home parent causes a seperation between the working parent and the children.

we are 16 and last year she got me a bunch of great struff. All I got her was a set of picture frames, which im pretty sure she liked, but it still didn't compare. She doesn't like jewelry and she is watching her weight. Any ideas. Experiences are always the best presents.

I currently have the Bablolat Propulse and they have lasted me a long time. I like them a lot, but finally they are worn out. I was thinking about getting the Babolat Team All Court, any comments on the difference between the two shoes or which one is better.
