I have a red eared slider that started showing signs of a RI 2 months ago. I took him to the vet right away and I gave him baytril injections for 2 weeks. About a month later he didn't seem to be getting any better so I took him again and he was put on another round of baytril injections. He still isn't better and he's been sick for a little over 2 months now. He doesn't move or eat at all. He sometimes coughs up mucous when I put him in the water once a day to offer him food. His eyes are swollen, but they've gotten a little better? I honestly don't know what to do for him anymore. I wish he'd get better, but I've accepted that he probably won't :( Why hasn't he recovered or died yet? I really really want him to get better but I hate to see him suffer for so long. Any advice? Another trip to the vet is out of the question because I've already spent $120 for nothing.

My turtle has a respiratory infection (confirmed by my vet). I took him to the vet about 2 weeks ago. The vet seemed to think he was pretty healthy (minus the R.I.). The vet told me to isolate him from my other turtle in a water-free cage. I put him in another cage with water though once or twice a day for him to drink/try to eat. He's also been on Baytril injections. I just ended w/ the injections 2 days ago. He's still not very active and has no interest in eating. He'll sometimes take some of this vitamin A supplement that the vet gave me orally w/ a needle free syringe. Once in a while he'll also take some food that way (diluded turtle food in warm water). He seems a little better then when I first took him in. His breathing doesn't seem as bad. I'm still concerned. The vet seemed to think he'd recover sooner. I really don't want to reschedule a visit because the first one was really expensive as it was. Any advice? Am I doing anything wrong? Should he still be kept out of water? Should he be healthy by now? etc...

I know baytril causes decreased appetite, but I'm worried because my turtle doesn't eat at all. I offer him food every day and he ignores it. I've tried a variety of food (turtle sticks, small fish, spinach, etc). It's been over a week since he's eaten anything. The vet told me it's ok for a turtle to go a while without food and that once he does start eating i'll know he's doing better. I feel like it's been too long though. Help! What should I do?

I have a 6-year-old Red Eared Slider. I noticed he hadn't been moving much or eating any of his food, so I took him to the vet last week. The vet said he has a respiratory infection, but that he seems pretty strong and healthy otherwise. I've been giving my poor turtle Baytril injections once a day (for 14 days). I've also put him in a completely dry cage (with a dish of water). I have a UV light over the cage. I've made sure to keep the temp in the room a little higher than usual as well. Once a day I put him in his cage with water to see if he'll eat anything, but he never does. What should I do? He's been on Baytril for about a week now. He doesn't seem to have gotten worse, but no improvement either. I feel like he needs to eat to get the proper vitamins to help fight off the illness. When I asked the vet a week ago about my turtle's lack of eating, she just said to wait because eating is a sign of recovery.

One of my friends said that once you get a mastery sign for a crop, if you plant and harvest that crop, you get some type of reward. I'm not sure if that means more XP than you would have before, or something else. Do you know? Thanks!

N*Sync: Bye Bye Bye - Not an original choice, but by far my favorite. I use to listen to this sucker on repeat when I was 9 years old.

Britney: Lucky - I have about 5 favorites, but this one is a keeper. My sim is at level 10 athletic, but there's no option for her to use the "quick burst," "don't break a sweat," etc.. I know I've seen them before but lately they don't pop up before or during exercise. What's my problem? Thanks!

It's hard to tell, but sometimes a sim in the neighborhood (who I can't control) will look like they lost weight - or am i just imagining this? I know you can call guests to meal and make an uncontrolled sim fatter as well as train them to make them thinner - but can they gain/lose on their own without you around?

I've searched all over the web and I see Alejandro a lot. Nothing seems to be confirmed though. What do you think?

On both iTunes and my ipod, i'll play a song and during some part of the song it'll just stop and go on to the next song. For example, a song that is 3 minutes long might play 1 minute and then quit there. If i skip past that part where it stops, the song will continue on fine though. Is there something I can do to fix this, or do I have to buy the song again? :(

To me it sounds like she's saying free, but when looking up the lyrics I've seen both. Also, if you've heard Alejandro what is she saying in the line about the cigarettes? she sings.. "don't wanna kiss don't wanna touch just smoke one cigarette more?" I've seen that on lyric websites but it doesn't really fit. If you know, tell me! thanks :)

Here's a list of the characters I just don't like: Connor, Declan, Johnny, Bruce, Derek, Damian, Jay, Jenna and Dave (the new characters for season 9), and Rick (even though i kinda felt sorry for him).

The ones I don't mention are somewhere in the middle.

My abosulte favorite would have to be Ellie. I just love her personality and her story line the most. My favorite moment is when she gets drunk while interviewing Caitlin Ryan, calls her a slut, and walks away. I still burst out laughing every time I watch it.

My absoulte least favorite would have to be a 4 way tie btwn Bruce, Johnny, Damian, and Declan. Bruce and Johnny are just plain trashy and ugly. Blah. Damian was just an annoying, ugly, stupid character. So angry at Emma for wanting him... Declan is super annoying as well. Maybe i'll warm up to him, but he's basically a huge creep. The things he says like "sir" and the part where he counts down to kiss Jane annoyed the crap out of me :)

So i've never used benzoyl peroxide before, but my brother has a bottle of it. I had these 2 annoying pimples on my face so I decided to rub some of his 8.5% b.p. on them to dry them up or whatever. A couple hours later I noticed I have these awful, noticeable red stains from where I rubbed the stuff. Ewww. Has this ever happend to anyone before? And will it go away by tomorrow? (they showed up around earlier today) If you have any advice to help get rid of them that'd be great too! Thanks.

Ok so I'm not sure if the version online is a demo or the final version, but I pray that it is only a demo because it isn't very good... It's very bland and sounds a lot like her other songs, especially Poker Face. Instead of mah mah mah mah, she says rah rah ohh la la :\ So is it a demo or not and what do you think? So apparently her album is suppose to be released on Nov 17, 2009... which is in almost a month. My question is, where is her single? My radio station (channel 955 detroit) plays this great remix of the song. It starts out w/ the helen keller part and then goes to the normal beginning of the song + it's a little more upbeat. Do any of you know what I'm talking about and know where I can listen to it besides my radio station?
