I assumed steam cloud would save my Batman game, however it's 'games for windows live' so this wasn't the case

Anyway, does anyone have a save file that is the completed (or nearly complete) story, but NOT LOADS OF THE SIDE MISSIONS COMPLETED?

Even on not full servers I get put in a long queue, this has happened for all of the servers that I've tried.

Is It because I'm not a premium member?

My 2011 15' MBp wont boot either OS.

I had a similar problem before and the HDD had failed so was replaced, however this time, before it stopped booting alltogether, there were simptoms that indicated RAM failure.

This has happened 3 or 4 weeks after it was last repared, where do I stand on getting a refund, concidering it must be some sort of motherboard failure? And is there anything i can do to fix it?

I'm looking to get some converses (the above ankle ones, original style), I wear deep blue jeans all the time, cos I'm boring like that. The jeans are GAP loose fit, royal blue but a bit darker, with a bit of fade in places.

My initial thought was dark blue converses, but I thought that maybe blue and blue would look silly, I'm a guy so have no concept of this sort of thing.

I've got a HD problem with my macbook ripoff pro and I need support, however when I go on the express lane webpage it won't load, I can put in my serial number and it will keep loading but not get anywhere, I 've tried numerous browsers and it won't work, what do I do, is there a free apple support number I can phone?

my macbook pro has become so very sluggish and has got worse since installing windows , which I really need.

It's been a while since purchase but I have a 3 year warrenty (still in first year) and I want a refund so I can buy a better PC for half the money, is there any way of getting a refund? as I said the mac has become nearly unusable.

I've asked apple support guys and they just keep saying about going to an apple store and getting it repaired. is there a loophole which allows me to get a refund for my £1,500 ripoff?

I have 4gb of RAM (I'm thinking of upgrading to 8 though) and would like to increase my GPUs memory to 1 GB or 500mb, I hear it's possible to take RAM and give it to the GPU if they have shared memory, how can I do this on windows 7?

I have GTA IV on my PC with the ELC expansion.

I've tried making an xbox live account but the xbox live website is aweful and doesn't work on any of the browsers I've tried (including microsoft's own internet explorer).

Is there another way I can make an xbox live account? (I've got a local profile for GTA IV but for some reason I can't do that for the expansion pack)

I do a lot of sit ups, but i keep my back straight when i lift myself and bend from the hips (i row and thats what ive been taught to do when i'm in the boat). I've bever thought about it before so should i bend my back to lift myself when i do sit ups (it feels unnatural and much harder for me).

I'm having problems with my startup HD and I need an OSX lion install disc, I hear that it's possible with the mac app store download, HOWEVER my mac came with OSX lion pre-installed and the m-app store wants me to pay £21 to download it (despite already owning it).

how can I get round this without resorting to pirated software (pirated OSs never work and their too risky)

I had a 500GB HD, and partitioned it for windows. windows screwed up (as was to be expected :\ ) and I had to unistall it.

I gave bootcamp 180GB of my HD, now after uninstalling windows that 180GB has just gone *poof*

my HD is now only 319.2GB according to both disk utility and bootcamp. how do I get back this 180GB without shouting at apple and waving my 3 year warranty in their face? this is annoying since I payed extra to have 500gb not 320gb :P

for reason which I can't be arsed to get into, I need to manually partition my HD to install windows on.

what format should I choose for the partition?

I've just got a nice android (my iphone 3g was becoming unusable), but i dont like the music app, iOS seemed to have the perfect music player for me.

Is there a music player that is identical to iOS's?

Also, most of my artist names come up as "unknown". I copied them from my itunes folders.

This may not sound like much, but my macbook pro's system CPU usage has increased to about 13% on average, this is Very High considering my total CPU usage use to be around 1-2% (I have a quad core i7)

this increase happened at the same time that my bootcamp windows 7 was installed. What do you think? I'm worried because I get the occasional freezing which never happened before.

Im running windows 7 via bootcamp, OSX is running with no problems.

However window comes up with an error about my ram and I/O whenever i click start or on the network bit (practtically anything in the task tray).

I want to order a zippo from zippo.com customiser. However I see that I have to have a background colour, is their anyway of removing this as I don't want to have a printed background on it.

I've bitten my nails for most of my life, I'm 17 now and they arn't very nice. I've managed to prevent myself biting them with reasonable success, however if I'm on my laptop I often end up biting them without realising.

I enjoy fiddling with things, I keep a zippo in the pocket of my overcoat and I open and close it in my hand. Do you know of any cheap (doesn't have to be dirt cheap) toys, gadgets, things that I can fiddle with? I'm tempted to get a gyroscope but it takes time to wind up.

I have sims 3 on my mac, I installed it from a friend's disc.

There is a steam sale on with Sims 3 at £10 with expansions also cheap. I fancy buying the game to support the developer and get the late night expansion.

however, the steam version only supports windows apparently, however it says this in the disclaimer...

will it work with OSX?

if not, will I be able to use my serial key from purchasing the game to use on my cracked version and then install a cracked version of late night and use that key when I buy it?

i.e. are there any work arounds?

I've got a nice MacBook Pro that can run games rather well, however the dual operating systems is slowing it down... "This is a great opportunity to finally make my own computer" me thoughts.\

So I've got a budget of Around £1000, tad more is fine, tad less is great.

I've put in a decent spec into PCSPECIALIST.co.uk:

Dual 1GB GTX 550 (more is always better)

second gen i7 quad core 3.4 GHz (8mb cache, although I don't know what CPU cache is)

It came out at £1,180 so If I buy the components myself it should be cheaper, and I get to build it.

what sort of power am I looking at needing? I put in 600W as I was unsure, although this does seem a lot.

the case is a "NZXT PHANTOM 410 WHITE GAMING CASE" it looked cool and had a lot of space.

what cooling systems will I need and how many fans (I hear liquid cooling is less dust prone?) will I need?

basically I am reasonably knowledgeable about standard computing stuff, i.e I could pick a decent off the shelf spec for myself, however other stuff such as motherboards (help please, I have no bloody clue) I'm not sure.

Please give me suggestions, improvements and help me with cooling and motherboard. (I've used ATI more than NVidia, is the GTX 550 good enough?)

I play BF3 and would love to run it on high.

My Macbook pro has experienced a really sudden, and extreme, decline in performance whilst using windows 7 via Bootcamp.

BF3 used to run at about 50 FPS on full resolution, now it has suddenly become laggy and the frame rate has droped to about 20 FPS on a much lower resolution (despite having a ping of about 30).

please help. Windows has run fine for about 5 months untill now. (As I said the Decline was REALLY sudden, it declined between 2 Battlefield games.)
