  • Facebook Friend Finding?

I am trying to search someone on Facebook. For some reason, I was able to search them once a few days back. A few days later, I wasn't able to find them in the search box, but I can't search the person anymore. I can find them through other's pages and add as a friend, but I can't do it in my own search box. Was I blocked or something? Why is this?

  • How to stop acid reflux in a sore throat?

Hi. I need a quick remedy to stop my acid reflux. I've recently become sick with severe viral pharyngitis that is on edge of being strep throat.

Because of this, I have not been eating and drinking in adequacy due to all of the post nasal drip in my stomach ruining my appetite (I know, gross), and the trouble swallowing because of the pain. The only thing I had consumed earlier today was at 5 o'clock pm. This was a cup of yogurt and about 1/3 of a cup of tea.

A few minutes later, my throat was feeling a horrible burning sensation. I then realized I had been doing everything wrong. A few main causes of acid reflux: inadequate amount of food and drink intake and caffeinated beverages like tea!

I've been eating actual serving size amounts in three hours periods and drinking as much water as I can handle, but now I can't get rid of it! Help! Pleeeaaase! My throat is already sore and bruised because of the virus. Acid getting into the bruises does not feel great at all!

  • Why Does My Ear Feel So Sensitive?

Well, I have gotten second piercing on my lobes in both of my ears. It has been probably a little longer than 4 weeks since I had gotten them. My right ear was never a problem. It went through the normal pain, swelling when it was irritated, and this was only up to two weeks after I had gotten the piercing.

My left ear, on the other hand, is suddenly always irritated. It's been irritated and itching for the last week and a half. On top of that, My whole left ear is now tender to the touch. When I touch the lower half of my ear where the piercing is and the tragus area, it is really achy. The inside is worse. It isn't so bad when I don't touch my ear. When I do, I cringe. I also "felt inside" and it feels like theres some type of...hard something inside.

Is this an ear infection? What could have caused this?

  • Is it better to take the ACT with the writing portion?

I know, I'm a bit late. Already out of high school and asking these questions. Doesn't really make a difference, though. Going to a community college for two years before I go to a university, so whatevs.

I am given two options on the ACT site. One of the options is to pay $36.50 to take the ACT without writing.

The second option is to pay $52.50 to add the writing.

Does it really make a difference which one I do? Has anyone ever gotten into school easier by taking the writing portion?

I'm graduating from high school in exactly one week. I'm going to a community college called Georgia Piedmont Tech for two years to take my prerequisites at a low cost, then I'm transferring to Georgia State University.
