As a bird owner of 240 show budgies and 30 princess parrots, finches and canaries, and I was a vet nurse....I know birds dont have periods or menstrual cycles but theres been a few questions and answers on here lately where some advise that birds have periods and others advise that birds have menstrual cycles.....and the ones that say this profess to be experts with birds.

This menstrual cycles and periods for birds is NOT true.

Answers required here and now that those of you that believe this wrong information post your proof on here now.

We have five cats. Three of these are my husbands siamese males. The other two are my Birman male and my Devon Rex female.

All three of the male siamese spray. Not only do they spray but they are dirty cats and pee and poop in places other than their litter boxes. The birman and devon rex are clean cats.

We are about to move to a 90 yr old house with beautiful polished wooden floors and the house is heritage listed so we have a duty of care to keep it nice.

I think the issue with the siamese boys is primarily that they are neurotic cats and have developed a habit that my husband refuses to either acknowledge or do anything about. I try to keep doors shut in the house to keep them in certain areas of the house and he wont keep doors shut and allows them free reign of the house including areas they continue to dirty. My husband refuses to even smell or notice whats going on. I am running myself ragged trying to keep on top of the access they have and the cleaning up and find new places they have repeatedly peed in every day.

It would break my heart to ruin this new and lovely home we are about to move to.

Is there any solutions for the siamese boys ? I dont need cleaning solutions as I have that down pat, but behavioural solutions .......... I would be grateful for anything helpful.

At this stage I have reached the end of my rope.

I have noticed that...amazingly....there are members here that say they are vets. They even get their vet degrees OVERNIGHT. Yesterday they werent one, today they are.

Wondering where they get these OVERNIGHT VET DEGREES ?

Some people ask question seeking answers on here from vets. Surely, in all seriousness a vet would be far to busy earning a living to come on here and browse looking for people to answer ?

I used to be a vet nurse years ago myself. Its easy to spot those that just say they are a vet to influence getting their answers chosen.

Do people really believe these people on here who say they are a vet and arent ?

But, do tell............where do you get an overnight vet degree ?

Our Cavalier female was on heat and she was taken to a breeder to spend time with the male cavalier for a deliberate mating. Ten days she was with them and the breeder says it didnt work out and that they didnt mate. This was one month ago. For the past week she has gotten very large and her nipples are prominent. She appears very much like our other cavalier female did when she was in pup. This girl was cranky and bad tempered the first week or so back at home, and off her food for awhile. Now she is very needy and wanting cuddles all the time and eating very well. She is growing day by day. All I have read about false pregnancies doesnt seem to fit her behaviour. If she were pregnant she would be around 4-5 weeks by now.....and she certainly looks like she is.

The breeder says they didnt mate, but our cavalier spent 24 hours a day in the yard with the male cavalier and slept with him in his kennel as well for all of that ten days she was there.

I am wondering if the 20 mins or so it takes for a mating did actually occur when the breeder may not have witnessed it...either through the night, early morning or when the breeder was away on the phone or taking a shower or tending to her young children, or taking her kids to school etc ?

Surely she cant have watched them 24 hours a day with no break ?

I will take her to the vet next week for a checkup. But meanwhile we are perplexed.

What do you think ? Does it sound like she is pregnant or not ?

I am currently being targeted by a person with a grudge who has multiple accounts, She is using these multiple accounts to give all my answers thumbs downs and elevate her own answers by giving herself thumbs ups. She is easy to spot in all my answers as she is the one with lots of thumbs ups ( despite the differing names she is using ) where I am the one with at least 5 or more thumbs downs. My answers are sound and valid.

She also votes for herself. Why ? Because she sent me an extremely abusive message last year and was punished by yahoo and now is back but with multiple accounts and a grudge against me.

What does this acchieve for her ? She can get best answer for herself in all the names she is currently using. I have identified the accounts she is using. She will quickly elevate herself to top contributor in all the names she is using and she us able to ruin my reputation and good standing.

So, my question is...........what can be done about this kind of abuse when you get no answers from Yahoo staff ?
