I have had 3 blood transfusion in the last 2 yrs due to my abnormal uterine bleeding this last time i went in for a transfusion they told me i had an antibody in my blood i was never told this before so they didn't make a big deal over it acted like it was nothing and today i got a card in the mail they said each time i have to go in for a transfusion i need to show them this card so now i am worried what is this antibody? on the card it just say antibody specificity : anti-E when i google it i just get a lot of terms i don't understand and about how blood is made I just want to know what it is how i got it if its bad or good and if its bad how to i get rid of it or make it better i see my doc in a few days just got me wondering

My period started may 30 it has not stopped it is very heavy to ware i go threw a tampon ever half hour to hour and bleed threw to my panty liner and i am passing very large blood clots that very from bright red to black that are the size of a base ball i went to walk in and they sent me to the hospital for pelvic ultra sound and blood work they said they don't know what is wrong so my question is has this happen to you what did they do for you to correct this ? I had this happen before i bleed for 5 months had 3 blood transfusion and end up doing a D&C its been just over a year since i had my D&C

I am 30yrs old I have had regular periods until about a year half ago I started having very long periods that would last 40 to 90 days that are very heavy change my tampon or pad every hour large blood clots that are the size of an orange I have been seeing my family doc and he has no clue what is causing my heavy periods i have had pelvic ultrasounds that came back with no cyst that the ultra sound showed i am healthy my doc tried birth control pills to help stop the bleeding but didn't do anything to stop the bleeding just made me feel very sick with the large amount of blood loss i am now severe anemic my family doc sent to to see a gynecologist and he also said that there is nothing wrong I feel there is I don't know what to do I'm so sick of having to change my tampon every hour it affects my work and daily life to ware i wake up some mornings in a pool of blood since i didn't get up every hour .I would like some advice on what to do ? I live in a small town and I have no insurance My bf thinks I should go to the er and see what they will do to help stop it since my doc's haven't done anything that worked

I am going threw a super plus tampon every hour i have huge blood clots from the size of a golf ball up to the size of a grapefruit cramps back aches bloating i am iron anemic i ve gone to my doc 2 times the 1st time he gave me birth control pills to stop the bleeding it didn't do anything i went back 7 days later my iron has gone down 1.2 points and he prescribed prometrium and indocin and was told that i have to wait for the bleeding to stop to find out what the problem is has anyone experienced this what was causing your period? any advice ? i am 29 yrs old no kids dont smoke or drink

My boyfriends dad passed away a little over a year ago while he was on the job waiting for his semi truck to get loaded. My boyfriend was in jail (for bad checks ) at the time of his passing and feels bad about not being there to support his son and his mother threw this tough time lately hes been having a lot of break downs crying and so on that he let his dad down for not being there for his mom and son and at the funeral his uncles told his mother that it was all her fault he had a heart attack the stress from her having cancer and almost passing away her self 3 months prior I dont know what to do what to say I listion to what he says and hold him but the break downs are getting worse and more frequent his birthday is next month and i know its going to hard what can i do to help?

my periods are normally really heavy The 1st week I spotted.The 2nd week it was very heavy and had large clots from pea size to golf ball sized clots. Now I'm on the 3rd week and its slightly lighter but not much and still get clots. I don't use birth control pills haven't had sex since Aug. I'm 27 yrs old this normal?
