I'm leasing a new horse hopefully starting at the beginning of next month. Which means every time I ride I wont be with a trainer. So I was wondering how to set up jumps, as in at least how far away from each other each one should be from the other jump. I'm leasing at 16.3 hand Warmblood so about how big would his strides be if I was measuring it out in feet? And how many strides it the minimum in between jumps? I'm just nervous that it could be dangerous if I place them too close/set it up wrong. Any info on setting up jumps would be great, thanks in advance!

My dog is a really good dog most of the time, but when she's on a walk and she sees other people she pulls as hard as she can and sort of freaks out. She's only ten pounds so it's not a huge problem but I'd like to fix her leash manners a bit. Also, she barks and growls a lot when people ring the door bell and come into "her" home and just at people in general. I think she may be afraid of men? Thank you in advance if you can give me some advice on how to work with her on her few problems.

Hello, soon I'm hoping to get a Canon EOS Rebel Xs :D My friend told me that her sister has one with a macro lens, and I looked at her pictures and they are amaaaziinnng! So I was wondering what a macro lens was, where I could get one, and how much they would cost? Thankyouuu! c: And would you recommend any lenses? I basically just want to go into beginner photography...I was also thinking of getting a fish eye lens, any information on them? I'm not sure if they're all the same or whatever. Oh, and I don't have a million dollars to spend on lenses because I'm 15 :P

I'm looking to get a good camera for myself because I'm interested in photography. I don't want a DSLR camera because they are expensive, the only one I would possibly get would be the Sony Alpha A230L but that doesn't have video and you have to look through the lens not on the screen. I want to get either the Nikon COOLPIX L110 or the Canon PowerShot SX130-IS. Which one would you get? Why? I'm looking up reviews right now but I want opinions comparing the two. Also, I want a camera with good image quality and video quality of course :) Oh, and I don't care about how big or bulky the camera is. I like both of these cameras cause they look "professional".

So, I'm looking for a camera for photography. I want a point and shoot only because they CAN be cheaper and because I like to see my pictures on the screen before I shoot them. I might eventually get a DSLR too. I take a lot of pictures of myself and it's easier with a point and shoot :) I want to get into photography so bad, maybe I'll even take classes next year. I obviously want a camera that has good quality pictures. So please tell me your opinion and sorry if this question is asked a lot.

just wondering if boxers and other breeds who traditionally have cropped tails like dobermans, rotties, ect. need docked tails in the ring (AKC). also, do dobermans and great danes have to have cropped ears?

So, I'm getting a new Boxer puppy on January 14th. Where I live it is snowing so bad it's up to my knees! My other dog who is a Boston Terrier mix can barely go outside to use the bathroom! He's also the runt of the litter so I don't want him to freeze! Should I get him a coat and boots? And like shovel the area he goes in? Any helpful tips would be appreciated!

I just got my Guinea Pig from Petco about a week ago and she just had babies. One died so we took it out and there is two left. I don't think she's feeding them and one still has the umbilical cord and one is too cold. I'm trying not to touch her but I'm scared she wont feed them! HELPPPP!

Kennel-not hiring :/

Vet office-do they even hire teens?

Horse stable-I have no experience with horses so they probably wont hire me.

Dog walker-i'd feel awkward asking people and stuff and I don't know if anyone would reply to an ad?

Anything else you could think of?

So, I'm fifteen and I want to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. One of my friends said that she wanted to be a field biologist. What's a field biologist and how much do they make? I want to do something with animals except not a vet or a vet tech. What are other good jobs with animals? Something that has to do with animals and something I would have to go to college for.
