Do you believe in reincarnation or rebirth?
I have only a few years left and want to understand rebirth. Serious answers only please, this is not a joke. I am accepting this with grace.

20 AnswersRoyalty7 years agoWedding reception, payment by guests for their girlfriend or boyfriend attendance?
I am a single male, and have been invited to a wedding and reception. I am a long-time friend of the bride (no previous romantic relationship), but the couple do not know my girlfriend well. The bride and groom are on a tight budget and can only afford a small reception. I would love to attend, but do not feel that it is approrpaite for me to attend alone without my significant other of about ten years. The fact that my girlfriend was not invited has nothing to do with her personally, just that the guest list was very limited. Other single guests have the same issue. My girlfriend would be extremely unhappy if I went without her. I have offered to pay the additional expense for an extra guest at the reception if my girlfriend could attend. The bride said that she would think about this. What is appropriate here? Was it wrong for me to make this request to bring my girlfriend (who was not invited) and offer to pay extra for it? Should I have just rejected the invitation? Should I go without my girlfriend and pay the consequences with my girlfriend? Attendance at the wedding is important to me as the bride is a very long time friend. What should the bride do? Grant the request, or something else? I never thought that I would ever have to deal with an issue like this.
