  • procedures for getting a vet?

My cat had an upper respiratory infection and I took her to an emergency clinic. 20 minutes later and a shot of antibiotics, i spent $160.

Now my other cat has the infection from the first one.

I'm wandering what I could do to get a vet so the costs can go down. Does it cost much money to go to an animal vet and have them be my cat's vet? And what do they normally charge to see my pet?

  • who should i do my taxes through?

    I have a 2 month unemployment w-2, my wife has 3 W2s, I have 2 W2's and a 1099 for $6,000 that I have many deductions though.

Who would be the best company to go through?...I did Jackson Hewitt last year and was very satisfied. I did Liberty Tax Service the year before and they weren't good at all.

  • Who would you want on your team?

Let's say you are a manager and you could sign any hitter to a 6 year deal and any pitcher to a 5 year deal. Who would they be and why?

  • McGwire's impact on St. Louis?

I know there are going to be steroid comments, and trust me, it's obvious that he took steroids. I'm wandering what his real impact will be with the Cardinals. He had been working with Skip Schumaker in the past and helped him get much better results in his swing. I think the steroid comments can be funny, but they're used way too much, so I'm just wanting a realistic response or two on what kind of impact Mark McGwire will have as the hitting coach.

  • Who's your NL prediction team and sleeper player?

I keep seeing posts on here about the Yankees. I like the Yankees much more than the Red Sox, but I don't see much on here about the NL teams or players. Who do you guys see coming to the World Series representing the National League and who do you see as one of the top NL players that nobody predicts to be huge this year (i guess i'm asking you who your "sleeper" is)

  • fantasy baseball question?

I'm not sure when fantasy baseball starts, but I would like to know who your quality picks are and your sleepers.

I guess, is there anyone you all would like to pick earlier than expected and why would you pick them?

  • civil claim for money situation, need advice.?

I took a loan from my previous employer for $2,300 in November of 2009, and I left the job in December due to it being commission only. Since then I have picked up a low hourly income job ($13 hr) and I just received a warrant notice for court next month for a debt of $3,000. I obviously don't have the money right now and the employer has done some really wrong things in the past that I have evidence of. So that brings me to my 3 questions:

1: Is that evidence worth bringing to a lawyer to help fight my case somehow?

2: What will they do to me if I don't have the money and can show them that I'm so low on money that my car may be reposessed?

3: Is it worth trying to hire a lawyer for this situation?

This employer broke a few major laws that I can prove, may even get him barred from the association he belongs to. Should I even bother with this information or just let it go and bite the bullet?

I'm not sure how these things work. Any sort of advice would be amazing.
