1 AnswerDogs10 years agoMy Supervisor is not doing his job what do i do?
I work at a convenience type of store on a military base. I have a few laid back supervisors who i could say i am kind of friends with. Lately i've felt very taken advantage of by one supervisor. I am very capable and never need much help. He has come in late and expects me to lie to the manager if he asks me why we didn't punch in. He vanishes for hours at a time. I usually have no idea where he is. Just yesterday he came in super tired because he worked another job until 6am. He was dragging all day then vanished. I paged for his help and got no response. I paged again for another issue awhile later and still no answer. I went looking for him and he was ASLEEP in the break room. Then when another girl started her shift later in the day he made a comment saying something like.. "oh well since she's here i have to do something now."
I'm not one to go running to the boss, but i've had about enough. I don't know if i should just leave in alone, since i am planning on leaving soon anyway. Or if i should say speak to the manager and explain whats been happening.
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoWhat else can we do for our puppy?
My husband and i purchased a puppy in early november. He is sweet and pretty spoiled.
When we leave him home alone he barks and screams until he cant anymore and tears up whatever he can find... its never too long. But as soon as we close the door he starts up. We've tried leaving music on for him and things like that but it doesnt work.
What else could you suggest??
12 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHow long can you safely sedate a cat?
I have a 5 year old cat that i love to death. She is currently living with me, my mom, and my brother. I was recently married and my husband is in the military. I am moving to Germany really soon with my husband and he said i could bring her along if i really wanted to. I do but i don't want to traumatize her. She is deathly afraid of her cat carrier. She freaks out when i finally do get her into it and she rubs her face on the front metal bars, throws herself against the sides and meows the entire time she is in it. The flight would be 8-10 hours.. is there anyway i could have her safely sedated for that long. Or is it best to leave her with my mother and brother. (mother ignores her and brother annoys her)
1 AnswerCats1 decade agoWhat is the best way to sell a car with a loan on it?
I have a car that i absolutly need to sell because i am moving out of the country. The problem is i still have a loan out on it. I owe about 8,000 dollars on the car and i can only sell it for about 6,000. I don't really have the funds to pay the extra 2,000. Can i just sell it and continue paying off the loan? What is the best way i can go about doing this?
5 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoWhat's the most i can get for a 2005 Cavalier?
I am trying to sell my black 2005 Chevy Cavalier. It is a 2 door coupe, and it's in very good condition. The interior is great, the exterior has a few minor scratches..nothing major. I just got all four tires replaced. How much do you think i can get for it?
4 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoHow do you deal with tattle tail like co-workers??
I have been working at a law-firm for about 1 year now and some of my co-workers love to run to the boss every time i do something they don't approve of. It's getting ridiculous. Honestly, they do things that i don't like and don't approve of such as take hour long personal calls and pass things off on other co-workers. If they don't have to do it they won't. But i am not the type of person to go running off to the boss and get someone in trouble. That causes animosity that people don't want to deal with on a daily basis.
I had to distribute about 20-30 books yesterday. Now the secretaries have the old versions that need to be recycled at their desks. A co-worker of mine came to me and said, " (boss), wants you to go pick up those books."
I work with 3 men that could have easily picked them up before i got there. I asked him why I was the one that had to go get them all and all he said was i don't know. We could have gotten them together and i wouldn't have cared.
See he's the type of person who will throw everyone under the bus to cover his own butt. So he went to my boss and told her i had an attitude problem. Which in turn she called me into her office to talk about it. She told me that she said if he was busy to tell me to do it. He wasn't busy at all. He was sitting there doing nothing and continued to do afterward. And she asked me if my other co-workers get an attitude when i ask them to do things... no because i ask them.. i don't just tell them that they have to do it with no other explanation.
Regardless i was the one who got in trouble again.. maybe i should just start tattling back and tell her all of the things other people do that i don't like. Or should i just suck it up because i'm leaving fairly soon. Trying to make it sooner. What would you do?

3 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoSymptoms or Stress or Symptoms of Pregnancy??
Last week i was having pains in my left ovary. Way more painful than ever. My appetite has been goofy. I'm hungry then im not, then hungry again. Breasts were soar but that feeling went away about a week ago. Everyday this week i've been extremely tired. I'll be at work and just want to fall asleep. I get a fairly good amount of sleep 8-10 hours.
My husband (newly married) just went back to Japan. He is in the military. So it may just be the stress of him leaving. But someone in the health section suggested that it sounded like early prenancy symptoms. It's a little too soon to test.
What do you think?
