I have an ASUS F552L laptop running Windows 8 that suddenly ran into a problem. When starting it comes up with the error Your pc ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. I've read countless forums that have the same issue but the difference for me is I see no loading counter, it just shows the error message for a second then shuts down I've tried various things to no avail the only F button that does anything is F2 that takes me to the aptio set up utility or if I repeatedly press the esc key on start up it takes me to 2 options 1- Windows boot manager

2 enter setup (aptio setup)

Before this occurred the laptop had no issues it was shut down normally then when I tried to restart it came to this it seems to be stuck in this loop and is frustrating the hell out of me I'm no computer whiz but have tried so many different things from various forums with no luck.

Ok so I have a Yamaha 7.1 sound system used mostly for movies via an LG DVD rec with dual tuners which in turn uses an Epsom projector, the sound is awesome for movies and never had a drama with it but sometimes when the sound system is used for music (digital through the LG s built in media player which is the same we we watch movies) the sound intermittently drops out? Usually just for a second or so then comes back usually a few times per song.

I thought it may be because I had the music too loud so turned the volume down and it didn t change immediately but did notice after some time it seemed to settle down.

The system came as a package with front floor standing speakers and the rest are bookshelf the only thing I changed when I installed it was better good quality speaker wire.

Any ideas why the sound drops out only with music?

Ok so I'm in Victoria and looking at replacing our 40 halogen downlights with LED using the government incentives, I've spoken with 3 companies Embertech, LEDified and energy makeovers.

Embertech and Energy M/O were much the same and E/MO told me their product was far superior to Embertech as Embertech use cheaper part cheaper globes.

I then spoke to LEDified whose quote was $800 more than the others which I told them they straight away picked Embertech as one and said the same they use inferior products but couldn't say anything about EM/O but came back and said they could now do the job for only $300 more than the other quotes and insisted their product is the best, the brightest and then quoted on a product they say is similar to the other 2 for considerably less.

A bit confused now who woulda thought changing lights could be so confusing.

Anyone used any of these companies to change out from halogen to led?

We have the halogen down lights throughout most of our house and I know that replacing them with LED's will save a heap off our high electricity prices is it as simple as changing the globes from halogen to led or does the transformer also need to be replaced? I believe but I'm not 100% sure that I can change to led bulbs but because of the halogen transformers there is little to no saving on energy?

Is there anyway with yahoo mail or hotmail to have it set so that when an email is sent it shows me or notifies me when the recipient has opened the email?

Just recently had our 06 ford territory turbo ghia serviced (120,000km service) and 200km after the service while sitting at traffic lights the car suddenly developed a miss felt like it wanted to stall, I got it home about a 3 km drive the car lacks power with the miss sounds terrible and the car vibrates terribly with any acceleration I noticed the MIL was flashing and in the book says a fault has developed that will damage the catalytic converter my initial thought was it was similar to my old 69 model ford 302 when a spark plug lead blew off I haven't checked yet as it's pissing down rain and for a mechanical novice who has mostly dealt with older engines removing the plastic covers will probably scare me anyway.

Question is if a lead had come off or been damaged could this cause the MIL? Could it be something simple left lose from the service? We have had no issues with the car in the 3 years we have had it and this is it's first time at this local ford dealer. Also I noticed when I got home a strong strange engine odour as soon as I got out of the car when getting it home....

For some reason my account has been changed to some new (horrible) version of mail, i got those mailer demon sent failure messages and have reset my password but now how do i get my account back to yahoo7 classic?

im asked to confirm if im a real person or a bot, a pop up shows 4 options all are links to gaming sites or competitions if i ignore them a new pop up says sorry your not confirmed as a human you cannot access your account, ie:Facebook, or ebay or what ever site it is, and why didn't my Norton 360 pick this up as spyware it was only updated this morning very annoying..any ideas??

I have been to various sites and found answers to this question that dont work, ie: use the stylus and press on the song then tap use as ringtone but there is nothing there for set as ringtone the other answer i found is to press then copy and paste it to ringtones this also wont work...Any help please

PS stay away from this phone it is the worst phone ever!!!!

When i connect to the net normally to any site i ca do it if i try to connect to my anti virus software site (Norton 08 360) it says connection problem same when i try to run norton live update? I also cant do windows updates i tink a virus is stopping me? Any thoughts or ideas?
