1 AnswerMilitary9 years agoDoes creatine give lasting gains after you stop using?
After extensive research on the Internet the information I found on this matter is 50/50. Some forums say it purely increases water retention and that gains are lost once you stop taking. Others say that it just rebuilds muscle quicker and causes no water retention, therefor once the cycle has been stopped you keep all the gains providing you continue with your training program. Has anyone had any first hand experience of this?
And the creatine in question is CreaPure, free from additives and maltosexterin (or something).

Have had 2 or 3 occurrences in last few months where i go running and both my lower legs cease. Ran 3 miles on a track 3 days ago and was fine. Is this a tale tale sign of compartment syndrome? and if so what can be done to prevent it?
