  • Taking in a stray cat?

I moved in with my boyfriend at his apartment complex a few months ago. Once I was settled, I noticed a group of stray cats that lived around the parking area. Having a soft spot for strays (my mistake I know) I started putting food out in the evening when I get home from work.

Well, one of these strays has taken to me rather warmly, more so than the rest of them. When I come home, she loves me to pet her constantly, even before and after I put food out. All the other strays only pay attention to me long enough to get food, but this one will love on me even after I lay the food out, when the others are eating and she hasn't even touched her share yet. When she's had her fill, she still comes to me for more scritches.

Long story short, I'd love to take her in.

    Here's the hard part though.

We're moving within the next month. If we were staying, taking her in wouldn't be too difficult. But moving to entirely new location, the only way to take her with us is to put her in a carrier and taking her to an entirely unfamiliar location, which I think would be too much of a traumatic experience for a stray.

If I moved without her, I know that she'd survive, but not in a loving home.... If I take her with me, it could damage her to the point that she'd never acclimate to a loving home, and would be in more danger in an unfamiliar environment.

    Thoughts, suggestions?

  • Is there a difference in steaming female crabs than males?

I'm steaming crabs for the first time. My family has only used males to steam, but the store I went to today only had females, and most have eggs sacks attached (gross). Would I just steam them like I would the males and remove the eggs after they're done?

  • Skyrim Dragon Shout Locations?

Looking for the location of known dragon shouts... I would look it up but I'm at work and the internet is heavily filtered to block any game content. Thanks!

  • I drive a 2003 Kia Rio and I had an issue on the way to work?

As I was on the freeway, I started to hear a grinding noise from the back right tire, and the car started to weave slightly. I got off the freeway and parked when I could, noticing that I had to press really hard on the brake to come to a stop. When I got out of the car, there was a burning smell and smoke coming from around where the brake pads are. Any ideas? Bearings or brakes? Or both?

  • Will it harm an automatic transmission car if you switch it into neutral while the vehicle is still moving?

I've mostly owned manual transmissions, and I have gotten in the habit of switching into neutral while coasting up to a red light or stop. I now drive an automatic, and while driving with my roomate he insists that putting it in neutral will cause damage to an automatic engine.

  • My boyfriend is not sexually aggressive; I have to initiate everything every time. How do I?

suggest to him to be aggressive once in a while without hurting his feelings/making him feel like I'm making him out to be inadequate? He's kind of a shy guy, but we've been together for months now and I don't think he has to fear rejection.

Don't get me wrong, once we're getting it on he's great, but I just don't get why I have to be the one to initiate it every time.
