I really want a duluth pack, but they're a little [lot] out of my price range. any cheaper alternatives but similar to duluth packs or other good bags/backpacks for college students?

i'm willing to compromise on the laptop part cause i could always just get a separate laptop case but the bag should be able to fit a 13" macbook. i also don't really care about colors. neutrals or brights are fine. I just want something similar to those.

These past few weeks have been filled with disappointment and rejection. I was rejected from 6 out of the 9 colleges I applied to, and waitlisted for one. Of the two colleges I was accepted to, one is where my brother goes and he'd prefer that don't go with him, and the other is about $30000 out of our price range even with scholarships. I am disappionted with myself and I feel so bad for letting my parents down. When I first read each rejection letter I didn't feel too bad (except for one or two) but now that a few days have gone by I realize what this all really means. I'm not good enough, and the goals and dreams I've had and the ones my parents had hoped for me to, since I was really young are now over. How do I make myself feel better? How can I deal with this harsh reality?

I was rejected by 3 colleges yesterday. accepted to one this week (back up school, far from top choice) and wait listed for another. How do I keep my spirits up? I still have 4 more colleges to hear but based on the rest of the results my chances are slim to none. Ways to cope and deal with this rejection?

I get $300 to buy clothes for the spring/early summer. What are some good pieces to add? I shop at Tilly's, Charlotte Russe, American Eagle, Target, etc.

What I already plan on buying:

1-2 pairs of reg jeans

1 pair of bright/colorful jeans

1-2 pairs of shorts

several tops

light weight sweater/cardigan

maybe:

a cute springy dress

shoes (vans or toms)

Any other suggestions? specific pieces? Anything to add to the list?

i been feeling really alone and loveless. I've never been kissed and I've never had a boyfriend. I've had crushes in the past, but the only guys I've liked lately are ones I can never really have (band members, actors etc) I want to find love or at least someone to like. it doesn't feel normal not to have feelings for anyone. is there anything in can do or should I just wait it out for mr right?

There are enough expectations surrounding th holidays. why do people have to go and add something else? i makes me feel bad for being single. any answers to this conundrum?

I was in such a good mood, texting a friend, just enjoying a rainy day in, but then I see that one of my closest guy friends is in a relationship (on fb). I was seriously just about to text him to catch up and say hi, but as soon as I saw his relationship status i just got this weird feeling, kind of sad. he was gonna be my backup plan (sounds shallow, but we all know we have them), and he's a great friend so I should be happy for him, right? it's not like i'm jealous, we are just friends nothing more, so why do i feel so miserable?

It has been my dream since I was ten to go to an Ivy League University or other top school, and I have worked hard my whole academic career. HOWEVER, my grades my junior year weren't that great dropping my GPA from 4.0 to 3.8 un weighted and my SAT scores are sub par (about 1800). I am now a senior in highschool and stressing big time. Should I just give up now and avoid dissappointed and failure or try anyway and just wish upon a star to be accepted? am I being too hard on myself? am I crazy for wanting this so much? please help! thanks!

over the past few weeks, my face has been breaking out so bad! I usually have have a few zits on my chin (I am a teenager it's expected) but lately I've been breaking out really bad not only on my chin but my forehead and around my mouth. i've haven't changed my skincare routine very much (i i use the clinque 3step in number 2, except for one week when i was on vacation and i used a nuetrogena scrub that i used before i got the 3-step) what could be causing my horrible breakouts? and do you know of any products I can use to help?

I have an 8GB iPod touch 2nd gen. When I sync my ipod to my itunes or check the about section it says the capacity is 6.8 GB. It used to say 7, which is still not 8. Why is this? where is my other 1.2gb?
