  • Indigo adults, what are you doing to...?

To all the other indigo adults out there...you might, and probably do, know who you are. The ones who have a lot of trouble with today's egocentric world, the creative souls who are vastly misunderstood...

What are you doing to change the world? I'm still trying to discover my message...are any of you having the same problem?

  • Germanic paganism...?

I am looking for some more informative, even historically based reading, aside from Tacitus, on "Continental Saxon" beliefs. I know, it's not an easy task since the Germanic peoples had a predominantly oral tradition. I know there are lots of websites and some books out there on Asatru, but Asatru seems to me to be centered more around Scandinavian regions and Iceland (Vikings, etc.)...the majority of my ancestors come from the Saxon regions of Germany and I am trying to get in touch with them, so to speak...does anyone have some good sources I can check out? or have some other ideas on how to get back in touch with my roots?

  • Question on cremation practices...?

I was just reading a question about cremation on here...but i've always wondered why cremation is even questioned as a practice.

Seems to make more sense to me. Being that it is the spirit that lives on once it is liberated from the body at death. Embalming the dead and burying them in really expensive boxes never made much sense to me...after all you're loved ones live on in your heart as well...what are your thoughts?

  • In this world of social and environmental disorder...?

do you think that the ENTIRE world (ALL religions, or lack thereof) could have something to learn from St. Francis of Assisi?

He came from a very wealthy family and could have had just about anything in a world that had nothing...but renounced it all to devote himself to helping others...even giving them the shirt off his back (literally)...although he did have a slight fear of lepers...he also greatly revered the natural world as being divine in nature and that it should be protected

whether you are a Christian, Pagan, Muslim...whatever, what do you think? Can we ALL learn from him?

  • Why is it that some people who have the "gift of the gab"...

get so irritated when they know that I don't?

I can't just pull up a conversation on command...but apparently I'm supposed to be able to...how can I get better at this?

I have read that Cancers are spiritual and intuitive people...but can their mood swings hamper their spiritual development?

    I am a Cancer sun...but have a Sagittarius moon...definitely free-spirited, but moody...

  • A question for seekers...?

in your quest for spiritual clarity, what do you believe is/was your biggest stumbling block so far...?

Is it or was it surmountable?

  • Should Y! change the name of R&S...?

...to just Religions? And take the word "spirituality" out altogether...seems like every time someone asks a question that doesn't involve "the books" or denial of spirituality...the asker is beat into oblivion...oftentimes very rudely

I don't see this bashing from pantheists, Pagans, Neo-Pagans, and other "spiritual" people...

Probably the main reason I left behind my parent's religion...

I'm probably going to be obliterated for this question, but oh well...Your thoughts?

  • Killing household negativity...?

In general, I am a positive person...but my house feels like there is a disproportionate amount of negative energy in the house...it is an older house...was a rental at one time...has had many different occupants (from what my neighbor tells me, he's been there for years)

I am aware of sage smudging, removal of negative things, and addition of positive things to the house, but my question is on the different methodologies to make the "treatment" more effective...

    What do you suggest?

  • Spiritually speaking...my eyes change color...?

I've been told that my eyes go from bright blue to grey sometimes...do you think there is any spiritual significance to this?

Looking for answers from metaphysical people...

  • Cut and paste religion?

Doesn't answering every question with an endless stream of scripture passages deny your own capacity to think?

Is it just easier that way?

  • Why do people denounce Pagan beliefs outright?...?

I realize that organized forms of religion denounce Pagan beliefs because they don't "jive" with their beliefs...

I think that Pagan beliefs support that people are free to help out each other, and themselves, with or without divine guidance...sometimes the answer can simply be found from someone with a different perspective on life...or sometimes it requires higher assistance and focus...I believe that recognizing this is the heart of everyday magickal practice...and a part of humanity's mission...Isn't Paganism also about helping your neighbor in times of need?

Your thoughts on this will be appreciated...
