It's said that the person gets 1 million dollars. and it would be pretty cool to get that money and get that guy to shut up, But he has a lot more to gain by losing because he has exclusive rights to his show and would have recorded proof of paranormal activity. people all over would be watching it and he would make BANK!! so forget that guys couch and realize theirs many people who wouldn't want to be kidnapped by the government and taken into testing. scientifically speaking it has to many variables and flaws to be confused with an actual study.

I believe in the science that believes in anything being possible, and ruling out nothing that can be tested. Not making Assumptions and saying prove me wrong.

I found some fish in my pool (chlorine) and i pulled them out and put them into a filtered water environment. Will the filtered water be sufficient for them to survive in and will they live after drinking chlorine water?

This question is mostly for people who don't think about enlightenment much, although mediators and spiritual gurus are welcome. I'm sure you have heard about buddha or other people who have claimed to have reached a higher form of consciousness. I guess the real question is if you do believe in it, what have you done about it? and if you don't believe in it what has dis-proven it in your eyes? and have you attempted to pursue it at all?

I haven't taken a shower in like 5 days, been drinking a lot of water so I'm pretty clean and go swimming every couple days. It's a chlorine pool. But basically does anyone have any experience to share?

And for the dissenters i don't like taking showers because your hair and skin gets dried out from soap.

now when a person dies and their SOUL leaves their body, their is no transformation of the spirit into another entity. they are still of a spiritual nature, the term ghost is a dysphemism. Now the phrase talk $h*# get hit is very readily referred to where i am from, and i wouldn't try to start anything with another worldly being if i was you

But for real i really understand we try to leave religious connotations out of here because it is a scientific section. however we need to differentiate that just because religion coined the term doesn't mean that things of a spiritual nature need to be associated with contemporary belief structures, for it is a part of daily life and should be acknowledged as such.

Yes I've freaking heard about the Randi challenge who cares. the entire challenge is circumstantial i hope you realize by definition, as in it proves NOTHING.

Now humor me for a second if you will. Lets say an enlightened being who posses the ability to understand time and space, uses his/her understanding to do amazing things like telekinesis, or fly (or whatever). now tell me why would they give a crap about a million dollars and millions of people who would probialy be scared out of their minds (and we have a pretty bad history of dealing with witches in the past if you ask me)

Skepticism will not get anyone anywhere, it will only hold you back from truths too controversial to be acknowledged due to mass fear.

Now let me finish with this, we don't need to prove anything to anyone, we have enough evidence through our experiences to make our own inductions. Now since you can't prove or disprove anything with certitude scientifically speaking, why would you rule anything out? If you really want to stick it to me start a meditation practice and then tell me I'm wrong.
