Emergency fish question?

I found some fish in my pool (chlorine) and i pulled them out and put them into a filtered water environment. Will the filtered water be sufficient for them to survive in and will they live after drinking chlorine water?

Update:

I'm not 100 percent how they got there i think it is some sort of joke, but they couldn't have been in there for more than an hour tops.

If there's no chlorine in the filtered water environment, they should be ok as long as they stop showing chlorine poisoning symptoms. These symptoms include: the fish appear pale or covered in mucus, lying still and breathing erratically showing white gills, and may rub against rough objects in the tank. You can get medications such as Stress guard to help them heal, but sometimes the damage will already be too great. If you're worried, duck down to the closest pet store and get a chlorine neutraliser and some broad spectrum medication. I hope they survive!

Hmm, it depends on how much chlorine they've had. :x

Most fish from fairgrounds are in chlorine water and don't live more than a few days after being won, though those have probably been soaking in chlorine for a while...

how did fish fall in your pool??? when i had fish i used tap water and had to add drops to get all the chemicals out of it. chlorine is not good for them but if they were in there alive they should be ok in fresh water too.

It depends upon the % of chlorine
