Hey, my name's Charlot and I love Y! Answers because I ask all the questions I need more opinions on! I'm not usually offensive, if I hate a question I probably won't actually answer. If you're going to answer my questions please do the same, and I can't guarantee I won't snap back if you snap at me (I admit, I'm a little defensive). I'm *young*, have a good and IRL cute personality, and I'm nice if you're nice to me.

  • Dealing With Strong-Personality People..?

I live in a six people suite (two in a room; three rooms connected to a bathroom). At first I kinda judged them and assumed all these things and avoided them (I just had a bad feeling, plus I'm the oldest one in the suite). Later, though, after having multiple fights and hearing my name come up in whispered conversations over and over I reached out and things mended over.

Now I realize I was right to avoid them.

My roommate: Very sarcastic. Goes out of her way to say sarcastic things, even if they don't fit. Is more likely to gossip with others rather than defend someone.

My suitemate, A: is a very mean person. She is always gossiping about people in the school, her friends, and her suitemates. She thinks she's real, but she really is just rude and doesn't respect anyone. She always talks about her boy drama when it could be solved if she just STOPPED talking to them.

My suitemates, B and C: B goes from 0 to 100 emotionally. She can be laughing and talking and then one thing makes her cry for like 3 minutes. Or she will suddenly start screaming and getting angry and leaving the room. She is often bullied in secret by the suitemates; she talked to our SLA and things got "better" on the surface but they still don't like her. We only recently found out she takes anti-depressants, so I understand, but the others still dislike her. C is very socially awkward and quiet, it's possible she was homeschooled forever, but she's really a nice person but she is also often bullied in secret.

    My suitemate D: no problems.

All of my suitemates have loud personalities and comment on everything. It's really hard to live here; I've walked in on them talking about me three times already. What do I do?

  • What are the best birth control pills?

My boyfriend and I are sexually active (well, it's been two months since we last had sex but we're probably going to start again soon?). He uses protection plus pull out every time. However, recently I got very paranoid I was pregnant. Like everyone said, I wasn't, but I would like to do more on my side to stay safe. My mother had a bad experience with birth control (so she says) when she was young, so she has put it down. Are birth control pills free from Planned Parenthood? I called one time about the pregnancy and in the menu someone mentioned having a 'credit card ready' if you needed a refill. If they are free, what is the best brand to get? I will get the pills anyway, and start using them after my period in July, since I will go to boarding school (NO, it's not some boot camp. It's a school on a college campus where you can live and basically take college courses) anyway.

  • Am I pregnant? Or Stressed?

I can't remember when my last period was, but I'm assuming the 21st. Also, it was shorter than usual. My period tracker says my next one should have been here on the 19th. It didn't come until today, and it's blood spots mixed with brown liquid. There's not a lot. I took a test yesterday and it was negative, but the lady at Planned Parenthood said it was too early and I should test two weeks from now.

My boyfriend slipped it in me only half way, and we wiped the pre-*** off before hand. We did not have sex nor did he ejaculate in me, but maybe his pre-*** impregnated me? Everyone's telling me it's very unlikely.

I've been very stressed with school, taking new medications, and of course this pregnancy scare. Is it possible that my stress is delaying my period?

The only symptoms I've been having are: not feeling like eating, and when I do I get sick before I can finish. My left leg hurts a lot. My stomach hurts, but it's a nervous hurt and I know I cause it. My boobs feel fine, no headaches, no fatigue, etc. BUT, my mother says she had no symptoms with me except being thirsty, and I've been EXTREMELY thirsty lately.

Also, if I am pregnant, is it possible to donate the embryo? My plan is to abort it, but if I can give away the embryo to someone who's trying to get pregnant I would happily do that instead.

  • eBay Trouble; Am I just paranoid?

I usually shop from Amazon and I get my items when they are supposed to be here. However, eBay's estimated shipping times are (possibly) useless if the seller doesn't ship on time.

That being said, can I file a dispute/get a refund/whatever if the item doesn't arrive within the time frame? Two items I bought from China are still 'being prepared for shipment' by 'origin post' (which means they may not have even left China!) and the third is finally at customs in Los Angeles (or has been, for two days).

I have also purchased a grinder from eBay; the item left William CT to Springfield MA and then went BACK to CT as OUT FOR DELIVERY! I called USPS and the lady on the phone got a very panicked tone and said she would conduct an investigation; my friend says it's possible the seller has left marijuana in the grinder (although it was listed as brand new) and customs has seized it; if so, do I have the right to get the product (drug-less) back, or will I only be allowed to ask for a refund? And if I do, will PayPal provide it?

The other thing I'm asking about wasn't sold on eBay, but anyway. How long is appropiate to wait for a tracking number? I usually get it the same day or next, something the seller promised to me through email (but said 2-3 days on the website's messaging system...) but as of today, I still have no tracking number nor have I heard from the seller. The item is also no longer available, even though the seller claimed he had many more. Should I be suspect??

Of course you don't have to answer every single question specifically. Just, should I be more patient? Is my grinder seized? Can I get money back for items that don't arrive or arrive very very late? Thank you in advance.

  • Not Losing Any Weight/Accidental Starvation?

I'm 15, and currently 162. I've lost 8 lbs in not much time simply by doing the 30 Day Shred (I'm on Day 8) and eating a LOT less -- I was a compulsive AND emotional eater, so I pretty much ate all the time. I had no idea what 'hungry' felt like.

I burn 200 calories doing the 30DS, and another 200 if I go walking. I only ate about 1000-1300 calories for about five days though (I didn't realize it -- and I was losing weight so I didn't see the problem) but then I noticed my metabolism was slowing down and I haven't lost anymore weight! I picked up the calorie amount for the past three days but still -- am I hurting myself? I think my BMR is 1585 but I'm not sure. Do I need to eat more? I also drink a LOT of fluids, could that be an issue?

Please and thanks, sorry for too many questions. The main one is, Am I starving myself, and if so, what should I do?

  • Nine-years old and doesn't know basic addition?

My brother is nine and he still can't do basic math ( 2+ 2, 4+4) off the top of his head. He does have some problems (only recently learning how to speak better, still writes like a kindergardener, behavior issues etc. basically developmentally delayed) but I'm worried he won't be able to get anywhere.

Should he know math by now? And what can I do?

  • Do I have multiple sclerosis?

My dad has it, and is in very critical condition. I want to know what I can do for myself, as I take after him mostly genetically.

My legs and arm fall asleep more frequently then usual. Sometimes my leg just hurts and feels tingly. I get very random pains under my ribs to the point where I cant move. I have astigmatism and my eye doctor told me my visual will most likely gradually get worse. I have depression but it isn't constant; sometimes it is worse than other times. My body aches in certain places often. My personality has changed..also, sleeping late and often.

My dad has a severe stutter, and my brother doesn't talk. I usually talk to fast and some words/group of words are hard to say.

Do I have/will I get MS? If not, what's wrong with me?

  • Getting My Father High?

I know a lot of you freaked when you saw this question ;)

Anyway, my dad has multiple sclerosis, and it's horrible at this point. He never leaves his wheelchair, he has a terrible stutter, it hurts him to sit up, and he moves so slowly. His nerves are completely shot up. Just a few weeks ago he was being fed through a tube.

I recently read about marijuana and MS. It's unlikely to cure MS, but can relieve a lot of symptoms [spasticity, tremor, I even read somewhere some people were able to get up and walk].

I live in Louisiana, where weed is still illegal and such.

    1. Should I try calling my dad's doctor and ask about using marijuana? I feel like it would raise suspicions and he'd probably say no.

    2. Should I try and get my own weed and put it in brownies or something [and tell him, of course]

    3. Is there anyway I could get caught? And if so, what would happen?

I really wanna help my dad...even if for just a couple hours, he could feel human again.

  • I'm 15 and Total Jailbait? (Advice?)?

My friend says it's because of my lack of parents (so to speak) and my childhood, idk but all my best, closest friends are 18+. In my highschool (I'm going to be a sophmore this year), I didn't fit in with my class AT ALL; but completely fell into step with this group of seniors. Ive been told a mllion times I'm mature for my age, which I thought was cool at first, but it's REALLY annoying to get criticized for hanging out with "old people" (oldest friend is 29) and then there's the whole crush thing. I haven't DONE anything with anyone (they aren't looking to become sex offenders, lol) but I've naturally developed feelings for different people, and I can never date them...

Anyone else been through this? Any Advice?

  • Vagina Troubles (Smell, Bumps, and Maintenance)?

(SKIP TO ** PART IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ ALL THIS)

Alright so, a couple thing I want to say right off the bat: I'm 15 years old, but (and please, please hear me out) sometimes I think I'm an 18 year old trapped in a 15 year old...um, age restriction. I don't look 15, I'm told I don't act 15, and the majority of my friends are MUCH older than 15. Also, I do know about sex and all the good stuff, and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) to have the right to ask and worry about my vagoo.

Now onto my question. What on earth can I do with this thing?! Taking care of my vagina is so much work I literally call it VM (vaginal maintenance). My mother never explained ANYTHING to me growing up, and we don't have a very good relationship so I tell her nothing anyway, so I'm doing everything with my own knowledge and the internet.

Shaving is troublesome. If I do exceptionally well and get nearly all the hairs, my reward is one day of a somewhat presentable vag, and then weeks of a bumpy, dry, and stubly vagina. Supposedly, ways you shave create ingrown hairs, and my race (black) is subject to them more. I'm hoping this explains my newest vaginal problem (I dont know when I'll go to the doc about this). I want to try and do a wax instead, but I'm not sure if I could handle that or if it would even be beneficial. Any advice on razors or creams to buy, ways to shave (like which direction, how to avoid nicking anywhere, etc)?

ALSO: Apparently I stink. I used to think it was like armpits and sweat, but sometimes I take off my clothes and they smell NICE, but I still get comments about an odor. One of guy friends told me I reeked of vagina. Sorry to say this, but I have a VERY high libido. I'm hoping it's just hormones, but I've been a pervy chick for YEARS. And ofc, to go along with this, I constantly dose off to thinking inappropiate thoughts, which result in wet underwear. Is there ANYTHING I can do about this, aside from "Stop being so darn horny!". My vag itself also smells, I can't really place it but it's gone from almost intoxicating (in a doesnt smell great but cant stop smelling way) to just stinky. And I wash it all the time but no luck. Wet (is it normal if underwear isnt actually wet, but has a white filmy stuff on it?) panties plus a vagina with all sorts of little clumps of ugh under the labias, plus the natural little B.O. I have going on...

**I'm coming to loathe my own vagina, and fear that I'll never find a mate because of it.

    1. Any advice on shaving, as in what razors to use, shaving creams, wet vs. dry, which direction to do it in, how to AVOID ingrown hairs, what to do when your pubes have no grain and you cant tell which to shave?

    2. How do I clean my vagina? As in, washing, wiping (I apparently spent years wiping myself in an unhealthy way, which have prob led to all this), how to make it smell better?

    3. How to stop the white stuff (wetness)? Or atleast handle it..

    4. How to tell my mom I need a gyno?

P.S. I didnt include much about the bumps, because apparently I need to a gyno for that.

  • Am I the only one who feels bad for the Arabs (9/11)?

Don't misjudge this question. I absolutely despise the monsters who destroyed the WTC, and took thousands of lives. But it only took one extremy close friend of mine to make me see that they were not the only ones affected. Arabs and Muslims today are so racially discriminated against, too many people immeadiately associate them with terrorists, and someone went as far as suggesting a Burn the Quran day? I don't care if that Bible said Kill all white men, it's THEIR religion! I'd be mad if someone suggested burn all Bibles, <insert other religious books>. How is this so much different from the Nazi time? Just because we aren't killing Muslims, Arabs, Iranians and such YET doesn't mean there isnt such a hatred brewing that it could be coming. I think this war is absolute foolishness, I understand the need for protection but I think its time to stop.

Again, my condolences to all the families who are missing a loved one (who still haven't moved on), but I also have condolences to the people who are harassed, insulted, and ill-treated simply for being a different race/religion. My best friend in the universe is only half Arab, and he had to transfer schools because of the racial abuse, violence (he was jumped), and God knows what else he faced.

  • Is this racist? What should I do?

First lemme explain. My school has standard and honors classes. The basic way to be in honors is to not make any C's. My honors track, as I call it, is people who I have almost every class with. There's only about 4 to 6 of us. There are other people who float in and out of some of our honor classes, but sometimes they are just taking a freshman class and there wasn't another slot for them. Honors is about 5% of the whole high school.

Even though my school is a private school, it's one of the few private schools in my state (Louisiana haha) that is actually MIXED in student population, which I love. My old private school, which I attended for 11 years, has basically raised me as "white". I talk white, I used to listen to country music, I used to hate rap, blah blah blah. Whenever more black students came, I got teased a *little* on being an oreo, but it was a small school, so it was all in good fun. But now I'm in high school, and it's NOT little.

Now, in my honors class, there's this group of girls. They are all black, and its more divided with 3 girls, and then 2 girls. But they all come together on one thing: Me. They do not particularly like me and my "white-girlness". Sometimes I am openly mocked as I speak, they ask me weird questions like "Do you use lotion? Are you really black? If you saw a police car, do you run or get on your knees and put your hands up?" like some sort of black test. It was funny to me at first, until they were serious. They rolled their eyes and laughed whenever my teacher made a reference to some sort of country song and I knew what he was talking about.

Even worse, it's no longer just them. There are other people, whom I brush into in the halls, at lunch, in the mornings/afternoons, who also mock me to my face and ask me why I talk so weird. Even some of the WHITE students do it. Its pretty much to a point where people either ignore how I speak and actually talk to me, or they ignore ME. That's at best. At worst, I get made fun of. I'm not really sure what to do, I don't desire to talk like everyone else, and to be honest I'm happy with who I am. But I'm not happy with being made fun of or not making a lot of friends. SORRY for long post.

  • part time job for 14 year old?

I'm 14, and starting to go out with friends a little more. Unfortunately, I have to beg them for money for food, little items, tickets, etc; and I can't ask my parents because they don't want to spend it on me (its a little tough @ home). Please don't say babysitting, there are no children in my neighborhood and I don't know people AND I'm not gonna babysit for a stranger. It'd be better for the job to be at "night" (like 5 to 8) so my mother won't worry about me working. Please help?

  • The media gives other countries a bad name?

Putting the Haiti topic aside, to me the media (even when trying to be good) shows all the other countries as crap. Our school does Operation Christmas Child, and it's always Africa or India or something their showing that need Jesus and toys. Yet when I went there myself, the majority of the people were already Christian (even more than us) and were clearly not suffering. It makes me wonder if, just because the other countries don't have our technology, we assume they're miserable and living shithole lives. But obviously they are still alive. Anyone else agree?

  • Need to lose weight, young age.?

I'm 13, 5'4 (5'5?) and officially about 150 lbs. Although I don't look fat, I really don't feel comfortable being so overweight and physically unfit. I DO look fat in my thighs and butt area though. They're probably as big as an adult or older teenagers. I really hate excersize, but I'll do things if i need to. Because I'm home alone a lot and don't enjoy going outside at nighttime, these need to be excersizes that can be done inside the house. If you need it narrowed down:

    Excersizes for Butt&Thighs: <Type of Excersize> <How many minutes/hours to do it> <How many days/weeks to do it> <How to do it> <Results??>

Excersizes for weight loss: <Type of Excersize> <How many mins./hrs to do it> <How often/Days Weeks to do it> <How to do it> <How much weight is lost in X amount of time??>

As for food, I don't cook what I want, and our financial situation doesn't really allow it either. I'm going to try eating less for sure, and maybe changing up what I eat.

    Thanks for your help :)

  • What to do about dry, itchy, and flaky (like when the skin is peeling off like chapped lips) on breast?

For the past week or so, the skin VERY near to my nipples has been flaky and crusty-ish (i dont know how to describe, i just know that with a little scratching it peels off and...think of it like chapped lips and someone picking them). I'm very young, and this has never happened before. I know your supposed to apply Vaseline, which I have been, and it works. But the flaky/itchyness keeps coming back, and I dont want a temporary fix, i want a cure. I also want to know if there's something wrong with me...

  • What is Wrong with my laptop?

    1) Getting BSOD almost everytime I'm on my computer, with the message KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

    2) Disk check everytime I turn it on. Usually cancel, but I NEVER had this problem befoe.

    3) Constant freezing of start menu, desktop, or the whole computer for 5 to 10 minutes. Usually I have to take out battery and put back (Ik, bad habit, but I just cant wait.)

    4) I installed Photoshop recently, and everytime I run it, it will work for a while and then it will freeze, and BSOD shows up or crash.

    5) I have uninstalled Photoshop, and permanently deleted it, but my laptop is still less than before.

    6) Can't run safe mode with networking? The comp just freezes on the Loaded: <list of drivers> Please wait..

I have windows vista home basic (tears, i want premium..). Ill get the other stats later, but can someone tell me what to do?
