which one should i get the optimus looks better. but the intercept has a keyboard which i really use a lot. my boyfriend has the optimus and says its better, my sis has the intercept and says its better.

1. What in your opinion is the best substrate? I'm going with play sand or coconut fibre, or maybe half and half.

2. any cool food ideas? can i give him crackers? he loves them lol

I had a dream i was walking through a snowy forest (never been to a snowy forest, live in Texas) and I saw these wolves like just standing there it only lasts for about 5 seconds and has happened 3 times?

Hi. On August 11 I bought 3 hermit crabs. Fluffy, Mr. Pinchy, And Herman. Fluffy died in September. Herman and Mr.Pinchy have lived happily ever since. I have a 10 gallon tank with 60% humidity. They eat store bought food, grapes, cheerios, wheat thins,and shrimp tails. Herman sat in the corner of the tank for 6 days. I check one night (the 6th night) and he is on the other side of the tank. Then he crawled back to the corner and has been there since friday. Please help? Why won't he move? I don't think he's dead and he's definatly not molting. HELP!

Well I thought my Hermit crabs Herman and Mr.Pinchy were both guys but apparently not.

They have been sitting toghether for a few days and Herman somethin at like sat on it looks like eggs I know they can't hatch without sea water but what do I do!?!?!?! And no, it's not Herman's turds.

I have had 2 hermit crabs since August. One of them is trying to climb the corner of the tank and I'm scared I don't have any plants or decorations he's using the glass I'm scared I don't want him to get out I don't really have a lid....I'm using seran wrap. Has anyone had this happen? I'm kinda scared right now..... =(

Fluffy is a medium sized hermit crab who is very active she is a PP and right now she is digging a giant hole. Herman Melville is really shy he is a medium sized PP too. He only comes out of his shell when he's under his favorite leaf decoration. Gollum is a small PP who's scared of me and luvs baths my question is THEY TRASHED THE TANK!!! the plants are knocked over and dragged around, the sponge is in the food bowl and someone dug a giant pit. Is this normal?

I'm getting 3 hermit crabs tomorrow and i bought a ten gallon tank and filled it up 1 3rd of the way with sand i know the sand has to be sand castle consistency? how do i make it like that?

I'm going to get 2 jumbo hermit crabs soon. I have a 10 gallon tank and i'm using sand as substrate. A have a food dish, water dish, salt water dish, mister bottle, a sponge, extra shells, a coco hut, and 2 fake plants do I need anything else? Also should I buy a critter carrier to take them home in?

I got my ears pierced like 2 months ago and now one is swollen and red and puffy and it hurts a lot. I have been turning them and putting alcohol on them is it infected? What should I do?

I really like the Jumbo kind but some people say they can like push over the tank to escape, and I wouldn't be able to find new shells for it? The tiny ones are cool and their pinches don't really hurt. But i'm getting 2 and they have to be around the same size?
