I live in a suburb of Dallas now that I am an adult. I went to College on a Golf Scholarship and feel it was really awesome experience. I thin I could have been way better if I went out of the state both during the school season and in the Summer. ARe there Students who have an aspiration to play college golf and want to work with a teacher in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and either spend Winters or school year with a Host Family. Compete in High School Ajga or both. I want to help sponsor kids who want to do this.

My cats usually drink only water, but on occasion when I pour a bowl of cereal one of them likes to drink out of the dish ... she won't drink milk in a saucer, but likes it with the cereal bowl. I find it funny ... just wondering if there is any method to this. Just wanted to get other's take on this.

I've played PING putters all my life and am now seeing their patterns in other companies. I also see some of the old Spalding designs made by Titleist, PING etc. is everyone steeling ideas ? Thoughts ?

Why does Scotty Cameron putters cost more ... is it just perception that they are better? I think Nike puts a more true roll as does the new TR by Ping ( Scottsdale )

Are they hand made? Is there Hickory in the shaft that i don't know about? Does scotty have Tiger DNA in the head somewhere ? Ok - I'm being a little tongue and cheek, but really ... why buy the Scotty Newport when the redwood is the real deal ( before the PING patent ran out )

I was just curious who on this forum is a Top Jr. golfer in the US ? I understand there are internationals on the Forum, and don't want to offend any of you. If you work hard and are under the age of 16, but in high school, do schools let you leave the campus to work at your Craft? Do you have to wait til you are in College to have a more Liberal practice time.

I used to listen to him in Madison WI when i was in college. I know he has a web site ( Patmccurdy.com ) ... where you can buy t-shirts. Has anyone from Wisconsin or in other states ever seen his show? Kind of a madison or milwaukee cult entertainer. If you ever were thinking of booking someone for a really entertaining crowd engaging performer he's probably the best I've ever seen !

I filed for unemployment insurance figuring my case was pretty straight forward. They misapplied the code and I was denied. Has anyone out there filed, been denied and left scratching your head? Please do not answer the question stating REASONS for being awarded benefits or reasons why you COULD be denied. I know nothing is for sure, but my case was very basic.

What are some events that could lead to collections? If you are still working won't the IRS just increase your Tax to counter anyting you messed up on fom a previous year? How can something loom wthout any notification ( for years ) of owing anything then get a letter in 2009... are there scams that use the guise of the IRS ?

I've had situations in the past where I was treated poorly by women. I was harassed by a co-worker on two occasions, but was not able to get any support from HR because I'm a white male. recently I was fired from a job and defamed by a co-worker who used her position of power to write un-true and damaging emails about me. I have written documentation and nothing to do with it because it's historically men who harass women when in some cases its just harassment regardless of gender. I know I can not get damages , but just beg the question ... IS THERE GOING TO BE A TiME WHEN MEN ARE THE MINORITY or equality in the work place will protect a White Male as well from Tortious complaints and defaming statements ?

I know it's a stretch. The employer had a very bad group of employees and one was pretty rude to me a lot. She wrote an email - but that's not important. The manager stole money out of the revenue ( till ) to pay for expenses such as Pool supplies, gas, paper, stationary .. etc. Is this something I can report in the light that they did not follow ethical practices for reporting business expenses and in turn affected Profits and maybe Taxes in the State of Texas ?

Employer has lied about some details. In written summary , "Employer states he warned employee about treatment of customers. Employer says that he got statements that employee was intentionally rude to customers." (heresay) I think I have all my ducks in a row for my appeal. They have company policy that requires verbal and documented warnings. They did not follow said policy in firing me. They wrote "substandard performance" and gave an accumulation of documented conversations with no dates and no names ( of complainants ) ... basicly heresay in my opinion. What other details should I pay attention to ? There were no verbals and they state I recieved them. The Seperation Form has written instruction to document " warnings and dates " in Summary area. there were no dates, just "substandard performance" check box was checked. There is a statement by an employee that says that she sells memberships and (he) is driving them away! " I'm not saying anyone should lose their employment, but he has brought this upon himself " ... my defaming comments :-)

Any ideas ?

Employer - golf course fires an employee day after an accumulation of customer complaints. No employer agent has spoken with the employee. The employee has a rather rough exchange with management two weeks prior which he thinks sours the work relationship. The employee questions some company policy in a private conversation with the employer / manager. The manager fires the employee two weeks later for substandard performance. Employer lies to Unemployment agency to block unemployment insurance payments by saying there were warnings. Warnings did not take place and only a vague amount of heresay ( third party exchanges ) exists in the employee file in the form of an email from one employee to another.

I'm a 5-8 handicap who has not played much. looking for people that want to play. Where are some good places to play ???

Looking at other questions on the site I saw some questions about caddying and PGA caddies etc. Does anyone age 15 - 16 still like to walk when they play golf ? Would you be more interested if you were getting paid?

Locations such as Chicago , cities in michigan, resort areas, etc... all have strong caddie organizations. PARENTS will you be proud if your teen boy or girl gets awarded with a scholarship for acedemics and community involvement as a result of caddying and pursuing the EVANS SCHOLARSHIP ???
