My school is having a cabaret night soon, and I need a nice duet piece to play for it. Please make sure it isn't that difficult, auditions are next week :P we don't have that much time to practice. 1. The angle of elevation to the top of a building is found to be 8 degrees from the ground at a distance of 5153 feet from the base of the building.

Find the height of the building. ________

2. A plane is flying at an elevation of 34000 feet. It is within sight of the airport and the pilot finds that the angle of depression to the airport is 24 degrees.

Find the distance between the plane and the airport. ______

Find the distance between a point on the ground directly below the plane and the airport.

3. The captain of a ship sees a lighthouse which is 160 feet tall. The captain measures the angle of elevation to the top of the lighthouse to be 14 degrees.

How far is the ship from the base of the lighthouse? ______
