  • Twilight- I don't understand...?

I'm just wondering why so many people have such a strong hatred for the Twilight series. Every time I look at any sort of Twilight question, the majority of the people who answer are just making rude comments about how stupid the book is. I can certainly see how it gets annoying if you're not a fan of the series to see so MANY about it, but do you really have to click on them? I know it's much the same with questions about the Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana over in the celebrity section...if you don't like them, why do you bother to give them a second glance? I just don't get why so many people seem so threatened by the Twilight series. It's very popular, a lot of people like it, and it's been made into a huge movie that comes out on DVD tomorrow I believe. It's natural for there to be all of this hype. Why can't haters just leave the preteens who need help with book reports alone?

  • Who do you want to win American Idol?

Just curious as to who everyone wants to win...just to clarify, not who you THINK will win, who you WANT to win. Who are you going to vote for? If you really will vote for more than one person, put down both. But who's everyone's favorite?

  • Music to Violet (musical)? 10 Points!?

I'm interested in auditioning for the musical Violet in a couple of days, but I don't know anything about the music. I can't find a place to listen to the recording; it's not on iTunes or anything. I've searched, but I can't find the music online anywhere. If anyone has a link they can post where I can listen to the music, that would be great- particularly for the songs sung by young Violet.

  • Type of research? 10 points!?

I'm doing a summary of a journal article, and I have to include the type of research conducted:

    Experiment

    Correlation

    Natural Observation

    Survey

    Case Study

My article is basically a proposal on identifying and treating OCD symptoms in young children earlier and with a specialized program. It's not a case study, that much is obvious, but it seems like I can rule out all of the others too, but it has to be one of them. Please help me ASAP, best answer gets 10 points. Thank you! ♥

  • Disk Space?!? Help please- 10 points!?

I have a Sony computer. I've been told that many, if not all, Sony computers, have their main harddrive divided into two. I have Local Disk C and Local Disk D. Disk D is much larger, but Disk C is what everything is saved onto. I can't move things from C to D; I keep getting an error message. How can I change the amount of space on each disk, making Disk C have a larger capacity and Disk D a smaller one? Or is there a way that I can make it so that everything is automatically saved to D, like computer memory? My Disk C is full and I can't do anything with my computer that requires even minimal disk space. Please help- 10 points to Best Answer!

I'm doing a speech on assisted suicide, and I'm trying to find a video to put in my powerpoint presentation. Please post it if you can find it anywhere. I don't want any interview; it has to be the clip he sent. 10 points for best answer! Thank you! ♥

  • Blonde Joke- Star if funny!?

A business man boards a plane and finds that his seat is right next to that of a blonde. He decides to have a little fun and make some cash in the process, so he sits down and starts talking to her. "Would you like to play a game? Every time I ask you a question and you don't know the answer, you give me $5. Every time you ask me one I can't answer, I'll give you $100 dollars."

The blonde agrees, and the business man asks the first question. "What is the average atomic mass of the three most abundant carbon isotopes?" The blonde purses her lips, but has no idea what the answer is. She hands him five dollars. "You're turn," he announces with a grin.

"Okay. What is red and yellow and goes up a hill with three legs and goes down with four?" the blonde asks him. The man sits, deep in thought for ten minutes. He gets out his cell phone and calls many of his colleagues. Unable to find the answer, he opens up his laptop and searches the internet for nearly an hour. Finally, he turns to the blonde and says, "I give up." He hands her $100. She smiles.

"My turn," says the business man. "What is it that is red and yellow, and goes up a hill with three legs and down with four?"

The blonde smiles and hands him five dollars.

    =D

I love this one, one of the best blonde jokes ever! Star if you agree! ♥

  • Obama Supporters- Why?

I'm sure all of you Obama supporters are aware that Obama is a Socialist. There's simply no other word for it, no way to beat around the bush. Do you truly think that America needs to become a socialist nation?

What are the benefits of this? Health care for everyone, sure. But that would make the health care mediocre at best, and it encourages laziness among Americans. Why should the lazy people out there get the free health care that we pay taxes on when they're doing nothing to give back?

Why do you think this is right?

  • Wicked website advice?

I've created a Wicked: The Musical website about the Broadway musical. I'm wondering if any of you fellow Wicked fans have any suggestions for what I should add?

    Here's the link: http://www.freewebs.com/eleka-nahmen

Also, I often have trouble getting site traffic. Are there any specific (and free) ways I should go about promoting my Wicked site?

  • Great Bella Costume??? 10 Points!!!

Yes, I know I'm one of the thousands going to the midnight party tonight for Breaking Dawn, and I'm sure everyone is sick of these questions. However, this is your chance to be creative and earn 10 points if you're a big Twilight fan.

I'm going to dress up as Bella (creative, I know) for the party. I'm wearing a dark blue shirt that she wears twice in Twilight that Edward comments on, and I'm wearing an ankle-length khaki skirt that she wears with the blue shirt the second time she wears it. I'll probably also put my hair back in a ponytail because that's how she wears it with that outfit. I'll wear a charm bracelet I have too, to resemble the one she gets from Jacob/Edward.

My question is, how else can I make myself look like her? Other than the scar on her hand. Are there any specific necklaces or other bracelets, etc. that she wears in the book? And what shoes should I wear? Any other creative ideas are greatly appreciated, 10 points for best answer. ♥

  • Interested in homework help site? Advertising?

I was wondering if any kids here would be interested in a free, quick, and easy homework help website. I created http://www.freewebs.com/homeworkhelp4kids a couple of years ago as a resource for kids and teens of all ages for help on homework. It has been fairly successful so far, but I'm hoping to make it much bigger and better for this upcoming school year. Anyone interesting in joining or who has any suggestions on advertising strategies, please let me know!

  • Project Help! 10 Points!?

Okay, so I'm doing a project for school. It has to center on one person (so not a group of people) who made an impact in history. I'd like to do Lewis Hines, the photographer who took pictures of child labor and helped to end it through his dramatic photographs, but it's already taken by another student. It can't be anyone common: no presidents, no well-known inventors or abolitionists, etc. It needs to be someone more unknown who had a big impact. Please leave as many answers as possible, I need all I can get. I've been brainstorming for hours but haven't come up with anything great, so good luck!!

Thank you!! =) Best answer gets 10 points. ♥

  • Back up hundreds of photos to external hard drive? 10 points!?

We're going on vacation tomorrow and we want to back up all of our personal photos on my father's laptop onto an external hard drive he bought in case something was to happen to his laptop. Obviously, you can open each individual and re-save it into the hard drive. Seeing as we have hundreds, even thousands of photos, that's not the most practical way. ;)

So how can we back them up, folder by folder? 10 points for best answer. =)
