Just ordered the new iPhone 64GB. I paid $300 and my plan will stay the same with the unlimited data. Which I use allot of.

Would it have made any sense for me to lease a phone? Would I have had saved any money?

Went to the Apple Store with the intention on buying a 64GB iPhone. The apple employee insisted that I lease my new phone at the cost of a extra 25 dollars a month.

Then I went to the AT&T store and they insisted on a lease. Even though they said that lease isn't a accurate word as the phone belongs to me (although I have to give it back at the end of the contract?!)

The AT&T employees them lamented and allowed me to pay $300 up front with no increase in my bill at what I was paying before.

Although they once again tried to get me out of unlimited data. As my usage is way high that's a non starter.

Here are the questions

1.What incentive are these salesmen getting to push people in a complex leasing scheme?

2. What incentive do they get from trying to convince me to get out of unlimited data?

Currently in the national guard E-6 with 18 years. As a civilian I net about two grand bi-monthly.

The school in looking to go to is 5 months long.

As near as I can tell with basic pay plus BAH I would be netting 4 grand a month during this AFSC training

Does this sound accurate? Would I be entitled to BAH?

Trying to figure my 401K situation

I'm currently 37 with $75000 and am contributing 10% 5% my money and 5% employee match

Right now for 2015 my monthly contributions are $593.

I have realized that this is woefully inadequate. So for the next several years I plan on increasing my contributions.

Of course this does not include inflation and salary raises. I turn 60 in the year 2038. I have my holdings in the riskier stock index Where can I expect to be?

I currently am in a heavy risk fund that pays out a 8% on a ten year average per year

A friend has told me that if I had a loan which was once a balloon loan and if I was current in my mortgage I could hire an attorney and have my mortgage principal reduced as I could say that I was a victim of predatory loan practices.

My original and current mortgage company recently plead guilty and paid a fine to the federal government for shady loan practices.

I currently have Verizon with my phone internet and tv. I'm paying $135 a month.

Recently I got a flier in the mail for Comcast with the same thing at about $85 with a $200 gift card.

I have always had trouble getting the Comcast to show up at my house and install my stuff.

Do you think it's a good idea to wait until Comcast shows up and installs before I kick Verizon to the curb and cancel my Verizon account?
