Broke my toe how much do crutches cost with insurance?
I'm going to the doctors today. I'm concerned that there going to rip me off on the crutches. Has anyone bought crutches lately?

They are cheap at the pharmacy. But which toe did you break? If it's the bigtoe, you'll get a cast and crutches. If it's one of the other toes you don't need crutches.

I had to buy crutches for my knee surgery. You can get them at a pharmacy. I bought mine at Walgreens for $25. They were for sure no more than $30. So, there's an option. They were new and cheap.

It depends on your insurance company's contract with you. Your deductible, co-pay, out of pocket limit, etc. The amount you pay after insurance is between you and your insurance company. The doctor has nothing to do with it. Call your insurance company and find out your coverage for durable medical equipment.
