I have a Sony Vaio VGN-S260 laptop that has a problem with the screen. When you turn it on, the screen stays dark but you can hear fans and drives running. The power light turns green and all works well, just no picture. I can't use an external screen because it is missing the function key needed to switch screens. Should I replace the screen or the inverter board?
