I just can't seem to find the right last name for her! Her first name is Tessa. She's seventeen years old and has a shy personality. She's very sweet an gentle at first glance, but actually has a very dry sense of humor and can be extremely sarcastic. She doesn't like confrontation, and will do almost anything to avoid a fight or stressful situations. She has a lovely singing voice and plays guitar, although she rarely performs for anybody and almost no one knows she has this talent. Physically, she is rather tall and thin, with thick honey colored hair and green eyes. She has dimples and pale skin; which she hates. She is of English/Scottish descent. She is embarrassed very easily, and as a result is extremely humble. She is a very understanding person and a good listener. As for faults, she is easily pushed around by others, not really having a voice for herself. She often stutters when put on the spot and suffers from panic attacks.

Please if anyone could help me with a last name, and even a middle name for Tessa that would be very helpful! :)

I was just wondering. I got an invitation for acceptance to NHS, but is that all you need to do to get accepted? Are there any further steps I would need to take, or is getting an invitation the only requirement? (I'm going to be a junior in high school.)

I really have no idea. I've begun to think about college options (I'm a sophomore in high school). I'm really struggling with what I want to do in a couple years. I know I'm kind of young, but I'm just trying to think of ideas. I, of course, want to do something that I'm good at. I'm very strong in English, literature, writing, etc. Foreign languages and history are also my stronger points. I'm horrendous at any type of math, and I generally struggle in science classes. I'm a pretty strange learner, very right-brained. I've gotten perfect scores on my English/Literature state tests, and failed my math ones. What would be some good majors, for someone like me? What sort of jobs could I get with said major? Thanks.

I don't know what to do. I've had trouble sleeping for the past two years and I'm not sure what to do. I usually don't fall asleep until at least 2 am, sometimes near 4 am. I don't know what the problem is! I'm 16, and I have a pretty active lifestyle. I have track practice after school, and basketball practice late at night so you would think I would tire myself out but I still can never fall asleep. I have tried reading before bed, listening to music, and just lying there with no distractions. No matter what, I can never fall asleep until very late. My doctor told me to try taking Melatonin but it does not work for me whatsoever. I have been taking drowsy allergy medicine lately to put me to sleep, but that doesn't always work either. It's getting to be a problem because I'm so tired during the day, but I still don't sleep! What do you think the problem is?

Who do you prefer? I, personally, am a Directioner. :)

Some of my friends really like them too, so I don't think it's weird, really. My mom told me it's childish to like One Direction, and she thinks I'm too old to like them. I'm fifteen. Is that getting kind of old to like One Direction? I really like them.

I'm very tall, 6'1", and it can be a serious task finding clothes that are long enough for my extra long limbs. I'm 15, so my style is pretty teeny. It's sometimes really hard to find pants that fit correctly, and long sleeved shirts/sweatshirts/sweaters that are long enough for my arms. I usually have pretty good luck at American Eagle, but that is really the only store that i find consistently has long enough clothes for me (also Aerie)! I like Hollister/Abercrombie, but I've given up shopping there because their clothes are so freaking short. I can fit into their jeans if i want capris...hahah. Jeans are extremely difficult to find. Even in AE its frustrating because i can either buy them long enough, or have them fit correctly in the waist. I wear about an 8 in American Eagle but the jeans are usually slightly short. The length is about right at a 10 or 12. Its so annoying. What stores would you reccomend for height?

How can I feel better about how tall I am? My height makes me feel very insecure sometimes. I am 15 years old, and I am 6'1"! I just feel so huge, even though I'm really not, just tall. Being tall just makes me feel fat also for some reason. I weigh somewhere around 155-160 lbs. I just really really hate standing out like that. It just makes me feel huge and SO not girly. You know, it makes you feel pretty masculine when you tower over a lot of boys; I can't stand it. Most of my friends are tiny too, so that doesn't help. I think my tallest, close friend is 5'6". I feel out of place most of the time. The only time I feel comfortable with my height is when I'm with my basketball team where some of the girls are my height, or around it, some even a bit taller. It's nice being around tall people where I don't feel abnormal. I also hate seeing myself in pictures where I stick out awkwardly no matter what! >.< It's awful being tall. I could seriously go on and on about how much I hate being tall! During the school year not a day goes by where someone doesn't point out how tall I am. I seriously hate attention considering I'm pretty shy around people I don't know well. I hate how everyone points it out as if it's a joke to them. It really hurts sometimes, and it can just get really irritating and frustrating. I usually laugh, but it's just so annoying. :(

How can I feel better about myself, and my height?? Please help. :'(

Hi guys. I am a 15 year old American girl, and I was just wondering what people over there in the UK think of American accents. My friend and I were recently discussing our love for British and Irish accents, and how we just find them incredibly sexy and interesting. I could just sit and listen to those accents all day, they just fascinate me! So, I just wanted to know what your opinion of the American accent is? I don't know if it is easily distinguishable, but I am from the New England area, so I think it may be a slightly different type of accent. I'm not sure. All I know is that in New England (Massachusetts is my state, actually!) we have a slightly different vocab from other parts of the country. I know that when I visit my cousins in Florida, I'm always made fun of for my use of the word "wicked". Apparently it isn't used in other parts of the US! What do you think of the American accent, and particularly the New England one? (Which actually is not a Bostonian accent! I do not know anyone with a "Boston" accent!)

My music sounds sped up when I listen to it on my iPhone 4. At first i thought it was because of my earbuds or something, but i took them out and played the music out loud and it still sounds sped up! What is wrong with it?

Which sport do you like better and why? My friend and I were arguing over which sport was better, so I'd like some other opinions! I'm going or basketball, shes going for softball. But if you're a guy you can just substitute softball for baseball, because they're basically the same (without getting into the little details,lol). So, which do you prefer, basketball or baseball/softball? Tell me why!!

I am a 15 year old girl and I'm 6'1", almost 6'2", which i know is extremely tall,haha! But i was just wondering what people consider tall for a girl, and what they consider an average height. I think 5'5"-5'6" is average, and a girl can consider herself tall if shes 5'10" and up. What do you think?

Hi! I'm really interested in volunteering at my local hospital this summer to get an idea about how it might be like working there. I thought it would be a great way to learn, (I'd like to become a nurse when I'm older) and also a great way to get my community service hours done, because my high school requires 40 hours of community service to graduate. I just wanted to know what kinds of jobs I'd be doing if I volunteered at a hospital, and some of the requirements. Such as how old I would have to be. I'm a freshman in high school, and I'm fifteen. Would that be old enough? I'm really curious, and I'd love to volunteer!
