Do the planetary disks for most solar systems in the galaxy form oriented in the same plane as the Galaxy itself? The Kepler Telescope depends on planets passing between between the sun it orbits and the telescope in order to be detected. Planets orbiting in a plane perpendicular to our view of that solar system will never be detected. The relationship will determine how many planets it is possible to detect and the percentage of undetectable planets (by that method).

A couple of months ago I was at Frey's and was amazed at the DLP projection TVs. They were cheap, had huge screens and looked great. So they are not as thin as LCD and Plasma, but compared to a CRT screen, they are virtually anorexic. The only reason I didn't buy one, was they are too wide for my living room.

I got the number when activated. But since then, when I select the screen to display My Phone number, it is blank. When I go to the screen to edit my Phone number, I cannot edit anything. Do I need to "Unlock" the phone, or some other procedure in order to have these settings? Everything else seems to work fine.

I'm looking to buy a metal warehouse building. The walls and roof are dirty and need cleaning. While the structure is plenty sound, I'm wondering how safe it is to walk on the roof. I was wondering if all metal roofs are built strong enough to support a person walking on it.

There have been a number of times that I have read a news story on the Internet, and there is no date. Sometimes I find something by searching a subject, and it's obvious the information is out of date. Having a date on when the page was posted would help in determining if the information is obsolite. Why isn't this done more often?

I have seen two types of solar panels made. Photo voltaic and water heating. Has anyone combined the two? Silicon cells are not 100% efficient, so why not capture the leftover heat as well? It may take a little engineering to do, but it should be pretty simple. That way, more of the sun's energy could be captured for a given surface area.

It is a common stereotype, smart people wear glasses. Has there ever been a rigorous scientific study made to see if there is any correlation between poor eye sight and intelligence? Does being nearsighted or farsighted matter? Is it just a myth?
