I hit the back of my head, quite hard, earlier today. there is no obvious lump there. only then i hit the front of my head too - so hard that a bruise has formed on the bridge of my nose. i vaguely remember it hurting at the time, but i can't remember how it happened. i think i hit it on the wall but i'm not really sure.

i ignored it for a few hours but then my head started hurting again. it is only a minor headache. i have a slight stiff neck as well. throughout the day i've been a lot more clumsy than normal and very slightly confused.

i know i have a few symptoms of mild concussion, but i don't think it is very serious, so i don't think i need to go to A and E. is that right? what should i do instead?

no, i'm not a psychopath. i don't intend to cook a goldfish. i just wondered.

some people are telling me it's when they're 15, others say up until they are 18. pleeease let it be the latter!

is there anyway to increase height through diet or something?

also, how much will it be? because i think that swanley is outside the london zone so the cost migth be different. i don't think a london zones 1-6 travelcard covers it anyway.

So this is a few paragraphs from a story i'm writing. Because i wrote it i can't tell if it's good or bad or what. I would love your opinions, good or bad (especially bad, then i can improve it).

I'm worried I put too much detail in - be honest, if the whole book was written like this would you get bored with the detail?

“Close your eyes, Kass. Relax. I want you to think back to last year, relive the moment when the car crashed three years ago. Focus.”

Focus? That was a joke. How could anybody focus in this room, in this situation? My entire body was tense with a desire to fidget, to get up and move, to run away. Every nerve in my body was alert: the smell of disinfectant burnt my nose, the hoarse crackle of the psychiatrist's breath echoed through my mind, the fabric surface of the couch rubbed against my skin as though I was lying on sandpaper.

I turned my head to the side and sneaked a peek at the clock mounted on the wall. The clock hands were motionless; the batteries must have gone flat since I was last here. Time itself had stopped just to spite me. Maybe I would be forever trapped in this moment. I couldn't contain my groan at this thought. In my peripheral vision I saw the psychiatrist straighten her back, barely able to contain her excitement at having received a reaction from me.

“Well done, Kass. You're doing great. Keep that moment in your mind.”

Two smart kids are playing hide and seek.

One finds the other and says "Iodine Copper!"

Also, I read somewhere that the finish on the exhaust sucks. Is that true?
