I am 25, wife to Patrick, and mother of two beautiful boys, Jacob and Parker. I was born in Mississippi, but grew up & attended FSU in Florida before moving to Georgia. I am excited to now be starting a new chapter in my life in Tennessee with my family! I am proud to be a Christian! I attend Milan First UMC and sing in the praise band and choir, I also help with the youth group. I am a hardcore FSU Football fan! GO NOLES!!!! I love to laugh until I cry! I love fall and winter! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, mostly because it means it is time for my birthday and Christmas is right around the corner, in addition to being a time when everyone is outwardly thankful! My mom and husband are my best friends and rightly so. My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption and my favorite band is Dave Matthews Band! I love Rescue Me, Scrubs and FSU football games! I plan to finish a BSN and work in L&D.

  • Would this recipe work with the addition of onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes?

    OVEN POT ROAST

2 lbs. buy first cut or trim well. Should be lean with thin coating of fat on top

1 pkg. Lipton onion soup dry mix

    1 can Campbell's tomato soup

    1 can stewed tomatoes

    1 can tomato sauce

    1 c. water

    1 roasting pan

Mix all ingredients except meat in roasting pan. Stir well. Add meat, fat side up. Make sure to spoon sauce over top of meat and cover with foil. Roast at 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil. Turn oven down to 375 degrees, roast for 2 to 3 hours or until fork penetrates meat without resistance. Be sure to turn or baste meat every 15 minutes.

If sauce starts to boil out; add a little water.

When should they be added? After the temp is turned down or maybe an hour after that?

  • Help, I have a digital Canon Rebel and the memory card is stuck most of the way in, how can I get it out?

I am afraid to either damage the camera or the card. I was trying to put it in and I think it may have gone in a bit crooked. If I am unsuccessful at removing it, does anyone know of any good camera repair shops in the Macon, GA area, that they know do great and affordable work, of course at this point, I'd pay a good bit not to ruin this camera?

  • Does anyone know of any good Contemporary Christian songs that would be good for Mother's Day?

I primarily sing soprano one, but can handle second soprano pieces. I need ideas for next month, I have been scheduled to sing on Mother's Day and want to sing something different, that isn't sung constantly at every contemporary service in every protestant church in America, every Sunday, please and thanks in advance! Oh yeah, I just did Carrie Underwood's 'Jesus Take the Wheel' in early January, so not that one.

  • Does anyone have some great dip recipes that are always a hit?....(read details)?

I have a great chip/dip bowl, that I haven't gotten to use yet and I need to make a dish for a party next weekend. So, I wanted to make a great dip that is good for chips AND vegetables, so that I can finally use it! I have read every dip recipe in all of my cookbooks and want to try something different!

I want something easy, but flavorful and really, really great, that you have ACTUALLY used with great success. Please don't just copy and paste some insanely difficult recipe from MarthaStewart.com(I could have done that myself), I won't pick your answer!

So here's to your great recipes, go for it! Be as creative as you can, while still maintaining a relatively easy level of difficulty! Leave several if you like, I also have a brunch I need a recipe for, so a fruit and cake dip might be great, too! Thanks in advance!!

  • Has anyone had a child go through psych evaluation? What is it like? Story within...?

We are about to go through it with my 6 year old, they want to check his IQ to see if he is just bored with his school work and then his developmental age against his chronological age and see where he lies. They will take all of this into account and decide if he is just bored, depressed, bipolar, behavioral disorder, etc. He has been getting into a lot of trouble, esp. socially at school.

  • When you get your hair cut, how much do you generally tip...?

I live in a small town and I am only charged $12 for a hair cut and $9 for my son(Great Clips), how much of a tip should I be giving? Is there a percentage you go by? I usually tip about 25% or more depending on how happy I am with the results. Is that okay? The turnover is high, so they help many, many clients per day and they don't do coloring or facial waxing, just cuts and styling. I would really like feedback from actual hairstylists if anyone is one. Thanks and God Bless!

  • What chemical is in photo paper that makes cats want to lick it?

The cat that I grew up with has always been notorious for licking photos and bengay, is it sweet? My husband says that is why animals such as cats are prone to dying from antifreeze poisoning, b/c it is sweet tasting. So what is it in these three things, photos, bengay, and antifreeze that makes cats lick them? I have pondered this for years and am glad to have found somewhere to ask this question, it's been driving me nuts! Thanks in advance for your answers!

  • Do you prefer white Christmas lights or colored?

I prefer white, they seem classier to me for some reason. I put them along the edge of the roof, on the mantle above the fireplace, and on the tree(the only colored lights I have are a set of bubble lights on the tree, but those are not the same as colored twinkle lights). I have a very woody front yard and was thinking that two of those reindeer made of white lights would be pretty and maybe some white lights on the wreath on the front door. What do you think?

Oh and is it just me or does it seem like most colored lights are are several strands blinking out of sinc? That would drive me crazy!

    Merry Christmas!

  • Is all raw cocoa imported to America?

I'm not talking about already formed cholcolate or cocoa powder. I mean, are there cacao(sp?) plants in America or is all cocoa imported? As in, does Hershey's have to import theirs or is it grown nearby? This is not for school, I am too old for that, this is just a curiosity question that stems from being to lazy to look it up online myself. Cheers!
