I'm looking for a hotel that is within an easy walking distance with kids to the National mall and attractions. I also need a safe location and was hoping for a hotel with inexpensive dining or restaurants very close. I don't know the area at all so any hotel suggestions would be appreciated!

Our cruise is stopping in Nassau from 1pm to midnight in July. I have 2 teenage girls and would like them to see the Atlantis. However, it is $85 per person just for transportation there to use their beaches, and $175 per person to add in the water slides etc! Is it worth it? Can we just take a cab (and is it safe) to the Atlantis and use the beach or is that not possible? Also, is it worth it to just take a cab there and look around and not swim? Should we skip the Atlantis and just shop in Nassau and go on the glass bottom boat? Thanks for any info!

Going to RI from NH, If I take the concord trailways where does it drop you off to where you get on the train? How long do you need to make it across the station? Would 25 minutes be enough? Thanks so much.

We have been to Disneyworld, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, Disneyland and Knottsberry Farm. We are looking for a new park to visit but it has to be big enough to stay for a week of vacation. We also like water parks too if it includes one. My girls are 18 and 14 and love roller coasters. we would also like a theme park that has nice hotels that have a shuttle or are within walking distance.

Has anyone stayed in the cabins at the Dollywood Theme Park in Tennessee? How close are the cabins to the park? Can you walk to the park from them, is there a shuttle or do you have to rent a car? Also, is there a grocery store right there to buy your food? We would be flying in from NH and just want more info. on staying in the cabins! Also, is there anything else to do in that area besides Dollywood? Thanks!!

Is there a way to delete songs directly off your touch? My touch will not sync when hooked to the computer so i can't delete songs...help!

We have 5 smoke detectors in our house that are electrically wired and have battery back-up. Different ones in the house have been beeping randomly. So we replaced the battery in all of them and pushed the test/reset button on all. They are still randomly beeping. About every 6 hours one of them lets off a single loud beep. Please help! Any suggestions on what is the problem or how to fix this?

My girls are ages 12 and 15 and we will be spending 3 nights in Vegas. Many reviews of Circus Circus and Excalibur say they are more kid friendly but they are cheap and dirty. What is a nicer hotel on the strip that is still appropriate for teens?

Could anyone give me a rough idea how much lunch might cost for a family of three (mother and two girls 12 and 15) at the Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere?? I found the menu online but it doesn't show the prices!! Does anyone know where you can see a menu with prices? Thanks!

We are from NH and are going to California this summer to Disneyland. I'm thinking of taking the bus and staying in Las Vegas for a couple of days befor going back home. I realize that Vegas is not "kid friendly" as a lot of people say but thought it would be fun for them to see it and go on the NY roller coaster and to Circus Circus, do some shopping, and stay at the Excalibur. Do you think it is a mistake to take them there?
