Help! Crossed the jumper cables on My truck!?
My daughters boyfriend was trying to jump start my 1986 nissan hardbody pickup
and accidently crossed the cables putting + to minus and minus to plus. It burned
one fusible link from the battery which we replaced. Now the truck starts but if you push on the gas it
dies. It only idles. Is there another fuse burned? Or a relay? He needs the truck for work tomorrow.
The engine is a Z24.
Thanks

Doesnt that mean that some Republicans agree that we should Raise revenues along with cutting spending? Are there any of you at YA?
10 AnswersCivic Participation10 years agoWhy Cant We Pull Together?
Remember After 9/11 when the Country pulled together and put aside Ideological differences because in Tragedy, we were reminded that we are ALL Americans.
Now, the Country is facing, and has been facing a problem much larger and more profound than the events of that day, yet all that happens is bickering and outright hate.
I hear alot of talk on this site about how if we taxed the rich at 100%, it wouldnt erase this defecit. I dont know if thats true, but if it is, then it must also be true that we cannot cut spending enough to put a dent in it either.
Cant we as Americans, agree that to tackle the problem, its going to require a little bit of both?
We arent asking the rich for 100%. We are asking for 3.9%. Like they were paying 10 years ago.
Is that really so unreasonable?

What do you think of this Analysis of the public debt?
According to this analysis, the bush tax cuts account for far more of our national debt than Obamas supposed "out of control spending". Why do more people not realize this? Wouldnt most people rather see tax increases on the wealthy than cutting programs for disadvantaged youth?

2 AnswersEconomics1 decade agoWhat is the Republicans Job Creating strategy?
The Republicans took control of the house based on their promise to create jobs and shrink the Government. So far, it seems that they have focused mainly on curtailing union rights and abortion rights. Is there any legislation proposed so far that is specifically designed to create more jobs?
Please link me to it.
