  • Can I stay on base at Fort Benning?

At the end of May, I'm going to my brother's AIT graduation at Fort Benning, GA. I keep hearing about a hotel or something on base, but online everything just says how officers or active military personnel can use it.

So, can I stay there? and is it any less expensive than a hotel off base?

  • What should I eat after exercise?

Every time i come home from the gym or get back from running, I binge terribly on anything high in sugar that's in the house. I always drink a bottle of water before I eat anything, but what else should I keep on hand to eat after exercising that's good for me, or at least filling:)

  • Is the Canon 50D the best choice?

Considering getting the Canon 50D because it seems to be exactly where i am - in between pro and non-pro. For those that have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with this camera or another ($800 or less w/out lenses) that's just as good or better, please give me your input!

Also, should weatherproofing on the body be important to me? my current camera is not weatherproof and i've never had a single problem, but because now i mostly do location photography shoots, in the future, will i be glad I have it?

I know I've been posting a bunch of questions about photography lately - thanx to everyone who continues to help me in my camera quest!!!

  • What do researchers mean when they refer to the mind's two tracks?

my psychology instructor has me writing a paper with this as the opening issue to discuss. we are studying sensation and perception, but none of the books I've read, or online resources I've looked up have used "mind tracks" as a term to describe them, so I'm not sure if that's what we're supposed to write about. the paper is due tomorrow and I've finished the rest of the paper besides the first part, so please help me!!!!!!

  • how can i get my puppy to go to the bathroom quicker?

she really hates going outside, so it takes at least fifteen minutes for her to pee and another fifteen for her to poo:( I don't care if it takes her forever, but she obviously is miserable until we go inside, so i need to teach her that the quicker she's done, we can go right back in the house. I am trying to praise her a lot whenever she's done so that she'll associate it with being a good thing, but it hasn't had any effect yet....

  • Is it normal for my puppy to have her last rib on each side protrude a little?

only when she's eating or drinking does it stick out - when she's walking around or playing, they are hidden. I gently pushed against them while she was eating, but she didn't take notice so it must not be causing her pain. Is there a condition that causes this? is this something i should take her to the vet for?

  • My 10 week old puppy keeps making a weird noise is his throat - is it hiccups?

this is my very first puppy, so i'm paranoid that every noise she makes means something bad:( I've read that hiccups are normal for puppies, but i just wanna make sure these are hiccups. They're very quick-paced last about a minute (they occur about twice or so per day).
