I am a 56 year old Grandma. I have worked in the Animal Care Industry for years. I have a special passion for Reptiles and have kept a variety over the years. I have done Rescues and Fostered all sorts of Critters. Snakes, Squirrels, Possums, Rats, Lizards, Dogs, Cats Turtles, Frogs, Taranrtulas, Birds ranging from Parakeets to the big Amazon Blues. There is not much I haven't Fostered at one time or another. It's been a very rewarding career. Right now my pets consist of a Rescued Mini Pin, two Rescued Cats. Two Tree Frogs, Five Anoles and one very sweet Millipede. I will be aquiring some new Milli's after the first of the year.

  • I bought a quilt that has a lot of "Yellowing" on it.?

It is a beautiful kingsize quilt but there is some yellowing that is the color of light mustard and there is also some mildew in a couple of spots. Does anyone know a good remedy to take care of the Yellowing? I think the quilt has been stored for a while. It does NOT smell bad. Thanks to any and all who can tell me how to get rid of the yellowing? Mildew too...

  • I have a little 5lb Min Pin with Dry Skin?

I have tried Oatmeal Doggy Shampoo, Aloe Vera Doggy Shampoo and lots of suggestions from friends but nothing helps. I told my Vet and he was the one that suggested the Variety of Special Shampoos I have tried (and spent a small fortune I might add) Poor baby is still scratching like crazy. Does anyone actually have a remedy that helps? She does not have fleas. Just dry flaky skin.

  • My dog has some kind of exzema?

My Min Pin has developed some sort of skin condition on his back and right now going to the Vet would mean a big Vet Bill. Understand that if I do not find an answer on here I WILL take him to the Vet.

Husband has been off work for a year so money is tight. Anyway this skin condition is odd. It does cause some flaking but when I scratch at it it will collect under my nail and seems "pasty" He does not scratch at it so I assume it does not bother him. I have noticed tho that the original area seems to be getting larger. If you have any idea of what this might be or what I could treat it with please let me know. I am a responsible pet owner but as with so many others things just happen sometimes that are beyond our control. For us this is one of those times so please don't give me a lecture about taking care of my pets. Thank You..

I do not understand this exactly but I assume after this takes place he will be a "Preacher"? Can someone explain exactly what this is. What is the difference between a Preacher and a Minister. I know that a few weeks ago he gave his first Sermon. I am Catholic so know very little about this. Also what would be an appropriate gift? I appreciate any information that you might have. He is a member of White Rock Fellowship Church. (If that helps any)
