My solar acrylic fingernails are too long now and it's annoying. Is it reasonable to think I can just grind them back a little with a Dremel machine and put some clear nail polish on after that and call it good? In the comfort of my own home? At no additional cost to myself?

Our current president was elected on a platform of "change". Pretty much all the leaders are elected upon some sort of promise of change, I think. Will people ever just be happy with the way things are? Is unending change necessary? Or do people just get bored?

Who discovered the idea that Earth was meant to be a certain temperature? Where did they uncover this fact, and when in history did it get revealed?

If people would just relax and go along with the exchanges and mandates, don't you think everyone would finally see that The Affordable Care Act is here to help, not hurt? Does it seem like states that dig in their heels, like South Carolina, are making it hard for everyone in the long run?

My boyfriend really loves the Trailer Park Boys television program. I think it's funny and interesting, too. However, I am ready to turn him on to the next good show we should be watching. What should it be? We obviously enjoy humor, subtle humor, and blatantly offensive humor, so if you have some suggestions I am totally ready.

If you tell me there's an algae bloom in the middle of the pacific, or that the coral reefs are disappearing, or that polar bears are drowning,I pretty much have to take your word for it. But if I've lived next to the ocean all my life and the tide still rises and falls in the same way, to the same height, and the sandstone trail on the cliff from my childhood is still there unaffected by any rise in ocean water.... It's going to be hard for me to believe that the ocean level has risen like you said it would all these years.

No one is giving me a hard time or anything. I'm just wondering if the neighbors secretly think I'm a slob.

Or do they just not really care?
