I frequently obsess over the fear that my medication is fake. I know its irrational but i cant get it out of my head. I also fear people can read my thoughts. I am diagnosed with OCD. I have experienced multiple paranoid beliefs i knew were irrational all my life. I just wondered if anyone has experienced these paranoid beliefs aswell...

What genre of music would you say these bands are? I don't know how to describe them really. Kind of 80s melancholy weird rock stuff like The Smiths, Tears for Fears, The Church, Echo and the Bunnymen, Depeche Mode?

On tumblr i thought i was hearing about people being sorted already! but maybe i was wrong.. i registered today and got my email but when will you be able to access the site and start exploring? after Day 7?

Is there a word for a kind of person who is infatuated with, or thrives to be loved by a person who is incapable of doing so?

I find myself becoming obsessed with certain movies like Donnie Darko, (500) Days of Summer, ect.. and other things, objects, people (sometimes even characters) to the point where it seems to be unhealthy and consumes a lot of the space in my mind. I remember my dreams every night and they're extremely vivid and almost always about one of these infatuations.

Sometimes I wish the things I'm infatuated with didn't exist so I didn't have to deal with the heartache of them not actually being there constantly and sometimes I scare myself with the connections I feel with certain characters, inanimate objects, ect.. and I feel silly most of the time because movies aren't real.

I have a friend who says she experiences the same as I do.

I am diagnosed with OCD and I'm seeing a psychiatrist weekly and I'm on medication.

I'm a bit of a fragile person and people seem to tell me what I want and I hate that.

I'm a bit immature when it comes to my social development and I was diagnosed with OCD 2 years ago. I'm 16 1/2 and I do feel a lot younger and always trapped inside some sort of fantasy world. I feel a lot of the time that people kind of patronize me. ex:

My favorite actress is Zooey Deschanel and once I told my friends that, they started telling me that I look exactly like her. Whenever someone asks who my favorite actress is, I say Zooey, and they tell me I look like her. Its quite intimidating because I feel like they're trying to throw the dog a bone or something. Its embarrassing cause its quite obvious I don't look like her.

I suppose what my question is is... how do I get people to stop babying me? Its rather annoying them acting as though I'm mentally premature or something of that sort.

So I'm thinking about getting hair extensions.

I'm most likely going to get the ones that clip in. I'll probably have my hair dresser sew them into place on the clips and such. But i have a few questions.

1. I have frizzy hair. Will the extensions blend in?

2. Do extensions fall out easily?

3. Do curly extensions get tangled easily?

4. Do you think they'd look good on me? Hah.
