  • Help with a Horror or Sci-Fi Movie Title?

Hello, I have been searching every where to track a movie down that I don't know the title too. I was only about 11-13 years old maybe. Now I can tell you when the movie came out but it was being shown on one of paid cable movie channels (HBO....) at the time, 1990-93, I think. Around the same time Demolition Man and A Perfect World were playing. This movie from what I remember could have been foreign and either a sci-fi or horror. One of the only parts I can remember with any detail is a guy trotting his way through a dark basement, but seemed more like a dungeon. I think there was a cobblestone look to it. It did not look American. But in this dungeon or whatever there was big pits in the floors and out of one of them was this nasty looking monster. This isn't much detail but I have had a lot of beers since I was that young. Any help or suggestions from the community will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • Underground Plumbing to Garage?

I am running water lines to the garage, I have dug a 5 foot trench form my house to the garage under the footing of the house and garage so, no pipe will be exposed to outside of building. I would like to know which pipe is best to use as I am having trouble finding information in the codes. I am getting conflicted answers about which will will last longer and is more resistant to ground shifting water freezing and so on.... Copper or PVC, CPVC, I would like to run both hot and cold water to the garage so I think my choices are just between copper and CPVC. I live in Northwest Indiana, on old swamp land, the water level is about 3 foot down. I have dug and extra 2 feet under the water level to about about 5 foot. I am in the trench standing and the ground level is at my shoulders. Any advice would be great Thanks!!!!!

  • Best Media Center Graphics Card?

I am looking for a Graphics card and Info on how to be able to see my desktop on my 1080i Samsung DLP tv. Right now I am running some old n-vidia graphics card with an S-video connection to my Tv from my home made media center running XP Media Center OS. When the media center program itself runs, I can see the letters on the folders fine I.E.(Videos, Music, Photos etc. ), and the divx movies and tv shows I watch are fine and clear with whatever resolution I set the video card to (currently my resolution is set at (1024x768 - small letters but fuzzy on desktop). Now what I want is to be able to see the desktop and other non media center programs clearer, like media monkey or even internet browsing. Do you know what I mean by the difference between the desktop browsing picture and media center browsing picture? I have tried to set the character size larger in my options and it worked a little... changing the resolution just makes me lose desktop space. I know a lot of things play into this... Type of connection, resolution, character or font settings in windows? So, is what I need a new graphics card with hdmi or dvi output? What is the best card or things I may want when looking for a card, and what other settings might I not be thinking about. I have read a lot of forums on what videos cards to use, but I haven't found a question like mine. So, if any help or direction can be given I would greatly appreciate it. I hope I've made it clear, if not hit me up and thank you! I just don't want to go pay for a moderately expensive video card if its not going to solve the desktop focus problem. My TV has all inputs except for the straight VGA Monitor input.
