I'm am trying to write an email to the Japanese professor at a university I am applying for. This university only has three years of Japanese language. But by the time I graduate high school, I already be done with third year Japanese. I want to send an email to a possible future professor to find out if there are any good Japanese classes (beyond third year) so I could continue studying the Japanese language.

It is a song called Nina, but the translation on my music sheet are...not the greatest. Typing it into google translator isn't very helpful either, so if someone could translate this, I would really appreciate it.

I want to use this quote in an essay I am writing for school. I have an idea of what it means but I am not completely certain. The quote is this:

"-everybody had a right to live - but in terms of simple business sense"

I interpreted it as everyone who has common sense in business/is a part of the working class has a right to live (or to be respected? Seen as a normal human being?)
