I've been using using my film camera for a week already and was having no problems. Well except today. I've been pressing the shutter button but it won't take a photo. My camera was already turned on so I thought I forgot to advance the film but as soon as I did, it triggered the shutter. Then when I advance the film when the camera is turned off, nothing happens. But when I turned it on, the shutter is again release.

Can I fix this alone or do I have to go to a shop to get it fixed.

I recently bought a used Minolta XG-M, a film manual camera, for a Photography class. My friends and I decided to give it try. When we had the film developed, the photos look a bit dull/bluish/a bit greenish.

I don't know if this means that the photos were underexpose since this is my first time using an SLR or something's wrong with my camera.

I'm currently confuse. I know you can get weighted mean by using this formula: the summation of (weight x the score) divided by the summation of the weight but what if i'm ask to get the median? Should I just ignore the units/weights? Or should I multiply the grades and the unit, arrange then get the median?

Here an example (grade,unit; grade,unit. . .): 78,3; 98,4; 89,2; 84,2; 90,3

Weighted mean: 88.71

Median=?

here's one i called "Detour to Happiness", i'm planning to make it into a novel:

It was dark and cold. Silent, oh so silent. And suddenly there were lights, bright white lights. And voices soon came after.

"Charlie! Charlie!" A woman cries hysterically.

"Ma'am please settle down," a man silently spoke.

Soon, you see blurry images. Something, no.... someone. Bit by bit the images became clear. A woman was holding your hand, she's crying and screaming something.... a name.

Who's name?

"Oh my god! My baby! Charlie Wake up, please!

Finally you feel everything. You see everything. You hear everything. The cold air, the people around dressed in white clothes. A screaming woman holding your hand. The beeping sounds behind the background.

And then it hit you...

"Oh ****, i'm still alive"

And those were the word Charlie Mackenzie spoken before she succumbed again to the darkness.

And here's another one called, "Alex"

For some unknown reason, I went to the rooftop of our school that day. I saw her in a simple summer dress and a black crop jacket, staring into the blue sky. She was familiar. Was she was in my class? I tried searching my mind for a name.

ALEX

"Hey Alex," I said trying to break the silence. She didn't flinch. She continued to stare at the sky. Then I remembered; she wasn't very social with anyone. Knowing that I can never start a conversation, I decided to leave. But suddenly I heard her murmur, "It was me."

I turned around to her ask what she was talking about but the only thing I saw was her deep green eyes staring at me, a smile plastered on her face; a face that I never notice was beautiful. She pass me by and descended the stairs, I still stood there, frozen. It was not because I was struck by her beauty that I never knew, but it was her expression; a mixture of sadness, happiness and fear. I have never seen anything like that.

My sister was the only one taking care of my nephew and my brother-in-law from time to time pitches in when he has time from his busy work schedule. But now my sister is going back to school to study Law. We can usually entertain him but when my sister is around, he always wants her and no one else (my sister can't properly eat or study). He cries if we (my brother, my other sister and my parents) try to carry or take care of him but if we do he cries for hours and end up throwing up. I'm getting worried for both my sister and nephew... any tips?

This has been going on since monday! My HP Deskjet D2360 prints then stops and says paper jam even though it is not, i've been getting half done pictures....

this usually happens when i use photo paper or sticker paper (the glossy kind) but if i use ordinary paper it prints just fine, which i don't get because i already printed several pictures in photo paper

i don't know if it is because of the new ink cartridge or the rollers or whatever, i really need your help

the first one is about a girl, i think her mom was famous but she was addicted to drugs and was later on arrested. the girl was put through foster homes, the family that first adopted was good but i think the father/boyfriend was sexually abusing her, then the next one was to this rich woman who was going to legally adopt her but instead killed herself... i also remember before the movie ended that she has these boxes/ or small treasure chest that she keeps memoirs from each foster home...

the second movie was about this girl also who kills all the guys that gets interested or attracted to her mother because she just wants them to be all alone.... just the two of them
