My family despises me big time, is it a lost cause?
My relatives have always thought I was a mistake of evolution, or something. Most of them are conservative and hardliners, but they also drink, gamble, used to sleep around, and I was a blooming alcoholic for a while until I found Christ, but outside of that I was considered the "good kid" of the family and the "goody two shoes". Then later when I quit all that and married a really nice guy and had two beautiful kids and a house and a dog, just like them, it seems I am still hated even though I never really preached to them. I certainly answered their question if they asked and I never compromised, but I never shoved any of them away, or yelled at them, or preached non stop to them, but they seem to still hate my guts. I have often bailed some them out and we have helped out a lot of people. The only thing really wrong with me is I can't drive well and though I am intelligent, I am a little awkward socially. My son is bad. Possibly ADHD or autistic, but the rest of us are not particularly weird and certainly not mean people. I seem to have always been the convenient "whipping girl" of the family whenever they had a gripe or were depressed or mad. I did stay away some Christmases and family gatherings, but only because they did this. My husband is so tired of it he would rather not go to family gatherings, mine or his. They haven't been accepting of him either and his family never really accepted me or my son. Should we just ditch them all or stick it out?

12 AnswersOther - Food & Drink8 years agoMy son is ill and has gone back to bedwetting and "accidents", is this normal?
He's five and was potty trained a year and a half ago, but since he got his latest flu virus he is bedwetting and gassing into his underwear (meaning "blowouts" and wanting to eliminate and pee in the shower instead of on the toilet. This has been going on for four days. I have already put him back into his old training pants and plastic covers, but what do I do about stopping it once he's feeling better? Or is he likely to stop it on his own when he feels better?

3 AnswersHobbies & Crafts9 years agoDisease, fungus in plants, don't know what it is, want to get rid of it?
I got this disease or fungus in my plants (an impatiens, a geranium, a Christmas cactus and a mint plant). It started with a tank of hybrid impatiens which dropped it's leaves into the other plants. I don't know what it is my guess is it's a fungus or a disease that is accompanied by spidermites. The plants get their stems and leaves covered with a scaly, bumpy white, almost calcium deposit looking thing, and always along with it there are spidermites. I don't know what it is, but I want to get rid of it.
