I have one letter to be sent an advance copy by fax to about 5 different organizations; which is the right word to state in the note?
Copies of this letter were fax to etc, etc, etc, etc, and etc.
Or:
A copy of this letter was forwarded by fax to etc, etc, etc, etc, and etc.
I’ve been telling my colleagues that since there is only one subject, one letter; therefore the use of “A copy” is the right one.
However, they kept on insisting that since it was sent to several organizations, hence the use of “Copies”; representing 5 copies of the single letter.
Please help.

7 AnswersBoxing1 decade agoSubstitute for salt intake?
Hi! Several months ago I had this bad feeling, while walking or even sitting, as if I was about to fall-out; you know-some sort of dizziness. It always occurred to me in a matter of seconds and then gone. Though seen by several doctors nothing was found unusual about my health. The last one advised me to watch out for my salt intake as he suspected that this could be a first stage of high blood pressure. I followed his advice that I totally reduced my salt intake that my foods nearly taste bland, and the dizziness nearly gone. The ironic of it however, was during the last few days of cycling I can feel that cramps are always about to occur that I have to reduce my effort in pedalling just to avoid being hit by cramps over the saddle as most of the time I always cycle alone. I read an article on the Internet that taking salt can avoid cramps while cycling or running; question is can anyone provide me with a substitute for salt w/o getting adverse effect on my health? I'm 58 yrs old.
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoVegetarian Cyclist?
Hi. I am a 58-year old cycling enthusiast, my question is: how do I prepare my diet while doing my cycling training and at the same time on a transition to become a vegetarian? I normally do a 100 mile training , that's 5 days, in a week. I always carbo load the night prior to next day's training with mostly rice, bread and noodles with chicken as the main dish; and then bananas and energy drink after. I stay away from beef though. I am presently working in a Muslim country that's why there is no pork available and when I return permanently to my native country I will do all my best to stay away from it. Can somebody please provide me with most suitable vegetarian dishes, i.e. breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner, as substitutes wherein the equivalent carbo that I will get is almost the same as my present diet? Thanks a lot.
4 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoSioPao Bun Recipe?
Hi. Can anybody provide me a recipe for SioPao bun that doesn’t turn yellow in color not to mention going flat when steamed? I really admire looking and tasting at those SioPao buns in the Philippines in stunning white color, cotton-like texture with the shape similar to a very large tomato. I’ve already tried several recipes and procedures that I can find in the Internet and also with the help of some friends but they did not work out as what I expected. I have no problem in the filling and sauce as they are simple to make. Please help!
4 AnswersEthnic Cuisine1 decade agoTribike Gears?
I’m thinking of assembling a tri-bike which I can use for leisure as well as for business. I had seen several Cyclemaximus tri-bike models in the Internet and also the several links available with that website. However, I did not find what I was looking for. What I cannot figure out is how I assemble the following: (1) type of rear hub/gear that will pull the (two) rear wheelsets into motion; (2) the rear derailleur; (3) brakes; and how many set of chains do I need? Thanks in advance and I will appreciate any good advice or any website where I can see a perfect example of the assembled rear gears.
3 AnswersCycling1 decade ago650C fork and front wheel on a 52-size Van-Nicholas Ti frame?
Hi. I'm using a 52 c-c slooping top-tube Van Nicholas Ti frame and at present is utilizing 700C wheelsets. I find this frame a little bit big for my 5'0" height. I am thinking of changing the front wheel with 650C fork and wheelset so that it will fit to my small height proportionately; I have to tip-toe while stopping at road signs. I reckon that by changing the front wheel and fork to 650C will at least help my problem; any idea what disadvantages it might have on the performance of the bike as well as the rider? I am already aware of the cost that it might have on me as well as bringing along two sizes of spare tubes while training. Thanks.
