I'm sorry the pictures are not so well. My camera isn't designed to take real up close pics like this. This spider is a hair under an inch brownish. I don't think its a brown recluse as I don't think it has the violin designator. I live in the middle of Iowa so thats the region we're talking about.

I thought this would work but its barely limping on lowest settings? I can run games like Oblivion and HL2 on full settings with no problems. So my question is wheres my bottleneck?

My dog is an intellegent and quick learner, I'm trying to teach him to sit and stay untill I say break. He does this perfectly, won't budge an inch unless I say break.....but only when I'm holding a treat. How can I get him to do this even when I don't have a treat reward?

In this dream I see a herd of about 5 or 6 deer climing into and then laying down in a big tree. They are being led by a buck that I think the horns are so big it could be a moose. I spacifily say this in the dream that I think the horns are that big. I've had the dream twice now. So according to dream imagry, what do deer, trees and deer that resemble moose mean?

Basically I have a home movie of our wedding and the audio didn't pick up parts of the ceremony so I want to add subtitles so people know whats being said. Is there a free/easy program out there to accomplish this?

I have a netopia DSL modem connected to a Netgear wireless b/g router. Nearly everyday I have to power cycle the modem and router to get the internet to work. Sometimes this happens at random while working online, though not often. I do tech support for Cable modems so I'm familiar w/ them and not too much w/ the DSL side of things, anyone have any ideas? Also, does anyone know how to obtain the IP addy for the dsl modem to access its internal page?

I have an ATI X1600 video card that is slightly less than a year old. Out of the blue its started crashing, filling the screen up with red,green,blue and white lines, than eventually my monitor blacks out and gives an error that it can't accpt a frequency that is too high. Now the lines start right on boot up, so it can't be a driver problem. Anyone have a Mcguyver'esque solution or has my faithfull graphics card given up the ghost?

I just moved to the country. Several of our trees have these hard round somewhat holy growths on some of the branches usually tward the ends. Does anybody know what this is? Is it fixable? Will it kill my trees?

I have an axe I just bought and its rather dull. Is using a bench grinder going to ruin it forever or is it ok to use. The axe will be used for hacking limbs off fallen branches and splitting firewood, and not used extremely often. Also I dont' care if the blade is 'perfect' or not.
