I am the manager of a botique and if I leave for maturnity am I by law still entitled to keep my position when I come back.

i ordered a package and the sender sent it to my correct adress but i never recieved it! the post office said it had been delivered and now i have to go through their claims department. the package did not have a signature requirement or any insurance...but it's not our fault that they delivered it to the wrong person and that they don't know who...what will happen...will they give me my money for it?
