I want to pick one that my wife hasn't seen and watch it with her on on upcoming vacation. I am a guy, so I am clueless, so please help. What movie(s) really turn on the emotion for you? Which movie would you like to watch with your husband, if only he were interested?

First, a thanks to all law enforcement officers for the risks you take daily to protect me and my family. None of you are fairly compensated.

The following list comes from oathkeepers.org, and they are listed under the heading "Orders we will not obey". What are your thoughts? Would you obey them? What would happen if you refused?

1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.

2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people

3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to military tribunal.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.

5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.

8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control."

9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.

10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

Are these five principles compatible with your religions official beliefs? Why or why not?

1) There exists a Creator who made all things and mankind should recognize and worship him.

2) The Creator has revealed a moral code of behavior for happy living which distinguishes right from wrong.

3) The Creator holds mankind responsible for the way they treat each other.

4) All mankind live beyond this life.

5) In the next life mankind are judged for their conduct in this one.

I went to a bookstore recently, and most of the philosophy books were nothing but the personal philosophies of the authors, that is not what I am looking for.

I have read many statements by adherents of evolution complaining that the religious, at least on YA, ignore the facts relating to evolution, or they simply do not understand science or the scientific method. Here is an article written by someone who seems to understand these things deeply.

Please let me know what you think of the facts, have they been debunked, or not? If so, please provide details.

Other than drugs, what has worked for you? How do you concentrate on things that are assigned to you, that maybe aren't all that interesting but you have to work on them anyway?

I have found that putting on headphones and listening to music helps me. What helps you?

I can think of one, the missing premise. When we come up with a list of premises, and then state a conclusion on those premises, even though the form may be valid, and even though the conclusion seems to flow naturally from the premises, there is always the possibility that there are many more premises, which are of equal or greater importance, that we haven't considered.

What other flaws are there?

My wife and daughter need to sing a duet. They need the soprano and alto parts.
