There is this bully at school in my lunch who jumps at the chance to make fun of the classes I take, and tries to make me feel stupid, just because he takes some more advanced classes than me. I've always had problems with other people bullying me about the classes I take, or about my intelligence, to the point where I become insecure about my abilities and start thinking that if these people keep saying these things about me, they must be true. It got so bad at one time that during a test I would have obsessive thoughts about me being a failure and that what everyone said about me being stupid and an idiot was true. I take 2 honor classes and I'm one grade high in math, yet, I still have these thoughts all the time. I don't even know why I'm always a victim, and I try avoid making fun of other people unless they do the same to me. I also try to never brag about myself.. How should someone deal with this kind of bullying? How do i prevent these obsessive thoughts from taking over? Please help.
