Right now I've got bright red hair (like Little Mermaid red) and my hair is closer to a dark brown, and I'm sick of having to bleach it all the time to get rid of roots, and I'd like to go to a color that would require a little less upkeep.

I want to do black (NOT blue-black) hair with platinum streaks in it, I'm thinking the streaks would be on the lower half rather than the top.

What I want to know is how I could get the blond in, like should I dye it black first then go through the hassle of getting the blond?

Or how could I put in the blond beforehand, without getting any black on it? This may seem like a really dumb question, but since I'm pretty good at coloring my own hair I feel like I could do it well once I figure out what to do first.

About 2-3 years ago my mom loaned my best friend $200 to pay off some traffic tickets. I recently brought it up to my friend because my mom is in a bit of a money crunch right now and she said that my mom told her "not to worry about it." However, knowing how she exaggerates, I asked my mom and she said "not to worry about it at the time." I know my mom is telling the truth.

I just want to know if there is a polite way to bring this up to her. My mom needs the money, and according to my friend money is not a big deal to her right now, although I am not sure if she is exaggerating that too.

i think mine would be something like lobster or crab, since i don't get to eat it very often. i'd just eat some really expensive tasty food.

I put my computer up at the pawn shop last month for $200, and they said by the 28th of this month I'd need to bring in $238.50 to get it back. however some things have happened unexpectedly, and I don't think I'll have the money by the 28th. have you ever extended the loan from a pawn shop, and if so, did you have to bring any money with you to do it? or do you just go and talk with them and work out the interest and everything?

I am moving out soon and I am trying to get my house as clean as possible. I have some bright red/pink stains in my bathroom from dying me and my roommate's hair bright red. It's all on tile or countertop, no carpet. Any recommendations for a cleaning product or remedy for these stains would be greatly appreciated.

I work at a grocery store and have been a good employee there for almost a year now. However, I have to move and I won't be able to get to my current place of employment, so I am trying to transfer. My main question is that if I want to transfer to another store and they have positions open, do they give priority to current employees? I'd be doing exactly what I do know.

I'm also a member of the worker's union, just thought I would add that in there if that helps me any.

or what is the most affordable internet I can get? my friend and I are getting an apartment together, and we would like to save up or eventually get internet access for my computer. I'm considering getting WiFi but it seems sort of costly to start up at. Or what did you pay for internet start up and then how much do you pay a month?

sort of like a ruby red, scarlett color. not candy apple red, lol. anyways, I heard that there is some line of hair dye that they sell @ Sally's, by L'Oreal. Supposedly it can dye your hair even if it is dark (like mine is a medium brown color) so I wanna see if anyone on here has used it and liked it? Esp. if you have dark hair.

so me and my boyfriend of four years had an 'accident,' is what I'll call it. you get the picture. it happened about a 2 or 2.5 weeks ago and i have these weird crampy warpy feelings in my lower stomach that feel really weird. i am not supposed to be getting my period soon either. and i feel this tight sort of bloated feeling in my stomach. i'm worried i'm either pregnant or if this is a sign of an early pregnancy that is going to miscarry. it hasn't been painful, although once i got a sharp muscle cramp.

I know they wear mostly or all black, or at least at the one I am going to be interviewed at. I got a pair of black office-style pants, a blank button up with a collar and some details in the fabric, like these small ruffle things, and a pair of Steve Madden patent leather flats with a slight open toe and some ruffles on them as well, so it goes with the top in a way. I'm thinking of just wearing a pair of pearl earrings and a simple necklace. Does that sound professional enough, or Victoria's Secret interview- worthy? I went for a professional look but feminine too.

If anyone has any make up or good hair tips as well, they are greatly appreciated. I had a small budget on my outfit so I did the best I could.

why do the people on yahoo answers seem to get a big kick out of giving pointless answers to questions? now I totally understand if someone is asking a ridiculous question, but I'll see people asking legitimate questions and then some jerks who have to give a stupid answer. Anyone know why there are morons who do this?

has the best rates for a teenage driver (male). he is 18, so it will still be very high, but what company do you think has the best prices? not necessarily the best coverage...right now we just want to be able to drive legally. any links to websites or phone numbers would be of great help.

my boyfriend and I are going to be moving into an apartment and/or duplex within the month, it will be the first time we will be living on our own, since my mom is moving and I can't go with her. we have been together for three and a half years, by the way, so please don't say it's stupid to rush into things.

I know it was dumb but I just woke up and did it wrong.

she is an indoor kitten but her mother goes outside, and this is where she is getting the fleas from. they are getting really bad, and I've heard that flea collars are bad for cats, or young cats. Is there any safe way to help her flea problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

our bath tub will not drain any water at all. at first it was just being slow, now it has come to a complete stop. I have looked up different techniques online, like the coat hanger thing, and I even used the plunger on it too. Our toilet is also having problems in there. Is this a problem with the pipes or could it just be a clog? It's very frustrating, and I can't bale out every last ounce of dirty water from that tub.

of black eyeliner, in stick, liquid or cream form?

I can't seem to find the right kind. The one with the best color is HiP cream eyeliner, but the brush is kind of hard to handle to me. I have tried multiple stick eyeliners, and they seem to get this greyish tint to them.

I have never tried liquid eyeliner, it looks like I would need some practice with it.

What is your favorite type of eyeliner, and the brand? Preferably drugstore brands, please.

Like that really nice blond, nearly white, but not the brassy orangey color. I know if I did it at home I would achieve that effect, which is why I want to go to a salon. How much does it cost, on average? Any help would be awesome.
